Four days ago Liverpool fans were laughing at a team for suffering the humiliation of drawing against Hull, then this happens. It's almost as if they exist solely for the amusement of the rest of us.

Work on Monday shall be fun. It seems to be a veritable cornucopia of opportunities to wind up the Liverpool contingent at the moment.
It all stemmed from my work colleagues predicting a 5-0 Liverpool win at Turf Moor back in August. I have feasted on a steady flow of tantrums, tears and tiara's ever since. It has got to the stage now where I don't even have to utter a word when I enter the office. A smile seems to get their lips quivering

If the very worst should happen and your form continues in the manner it has and, however unlikely it may be, United actually manage to win some of the "must win" games you keep handing us and you find yourselves in 6th place...how are you going to cope?

That awful FA Cup game aside, our last four games have seen us beat Man Utd at home and draw away, and now beat Liverpool at home. Granted, Liverpool dropping points is the big story, but we are definitely not getting the credit we are due. We've been absolutely superb since Marco Silva was appointed, and we've deserved every result we've achieved under him. His appointment coincided with a run of four league games that were expected to leave us stranded at the bottom and facing certain relegation. Having now played three of those games, we've been beaten only once and now find ourselves only one point from safety.

The method we were scoring shit loads of goals from prior to Christmas, namely with input from numerous players, was always going to have a dip at some point. The issue is that the backup for that method in Sturridge and Origi is also a bag of shit at the moment, with neither player cutting the mustard as shown yesterday. Until one of these methods gets back on form, the problems will continue.

As for the defence, that will continue being dogshit until Klopp accepts there is a problem and gets the owners to open the chequebook. The same with both keepers.

I am absolutely fuming we are so shit, because I would like nothing more than to have a good laugh at Liverpool's hilarious and pitiful collapse.

And I can't say a word about it. Fucking fuming.

Teams have figured you out, simple as. A blind man on a galloping horse can see where you're lacking. No plan B.

There's only one stat that Klopp will consistently excel at - outrunning their opponents. That's it. That's the "gegenpress" in a nutshell. Effective at times; I'll concede. But you need a little more than that to be considered a top, TOP manager imo.

This. I honestly didn't think that any manager could get a set of 2nd tier players perform that well. Saying this, someone has spent a bit because players like Evandro and Grosicki aren't free. Hull suddenly have a very serious chance of staying up. Yay!

Not simple as at all. If you think we have gone from scoring for fun to struggling to hit a cow's arse with a banjo simply because other teams have suddenly "figured us out" then perhaps you need to find another forum. There is an element of it perhaps, but a small one. The primary issue is that the players are majorly off form and have confidence issues at the moment, in particular in attack. Klopp needs to address this.

The amount of teams get 'found out' is really staggering.

Then Klopp should have addressed it in the window. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Liverpool have quality players but if defences have anything about them they'll limit you to playing in front of them. You lack a target man to get on the end of your wide men's crosses. It's not easy to play through teams who set up in two banks of four, especially if they are well drilled. You mention players being off form. That's what a squad is for. You should have players chomping at the bit to step up and grab the shirt.

Tell me something the majority of Liverpool fans don't already know, I very much doubt you will find many disagreeing. Certainly not me, check the 4th post in this very thread.

And we have target men in Sturridge and Origi. They're just playing shit at the moment. It also doesn't help that most of the width and crosses into the area are provided by the full backs.

Would rather face a penalty than face a counter atm. It's great fun.

Crosses are bad.

We would be so much better if we had wing backs like Rose and Walker. Clyne is solid defensively but as an attacking outlet? Not so much.

Agreed, he just isn't a fluid attacker and takes the easy option whenever he is attacking. I think its an idictment on Moreno as well tbh, that even when Milner is looking exhausted, he doesn't look anywhere near being able to get a rest.

We were after a right back at the same time as yourselves and were rumoured to be interested in Clyne but we ended up with Darmian.

Count yourselves lucky.

Clyne is very solid defensively, for instance, in both Chelsea games against the supposed Messi of the Premier League, Clyne marked Hazard out of the game easily. He was probably Liverpool's most consistent player last season (which is an indictment on the side generally I suppose) and though he does have bad games and can get exposed in the air due to being a short-arse, he is generally excellent defensively. I think us Liverpool supporters thought we were getting a Dani Alves though after he scored that goal for Southampton in front of the Kop!
