Forgot Hendon have also moved back home now... to a London Borough that takes a dim view on sports facilities no less.

It's here... The season is finally here! Tomorrow K's kick off away at newly promoted Harlow Town. I've got a feeling we may start the season a bit slowly so my prediction here is going to be a 1-all tie.
Think Hendon's new ground is in Brent rather than Barnet. Not a happy homecoming for them though yesterday. And I fear Fingate and Winchley will have a tough season.

1:0 defeat at Harlow after an injury time winner fron the hosts :lac:

Hendon at home for us tomorrow evening... hoping to get our first 3 points on the board.

RE: Stadium... it's 99% all hearsay but one thing we do know of is the club is looking at/enquiring about a unused golf course in near(ish) by Chessington for a new ground. Between the end of this season when we leave KM & the opening of the new ground is anyone's guess... Corinthian-Casuals or Hampton & Richmond Borough are the most likely touted destinations for a temporary home with Met Police (please no) an outside bet.

We appear to have neglected to assemble anything resembling a midfield which seems FOOLISH

It's okay. Having been at the Hendon game on Monday I can quite clearly state that we do not need a midfield. Tommy's game plan seems to be 'route one blast the ball to an out-wide striker'. Which didn't exactly work... but hey ho it's more likely to yield results than the 'long ball to Dean Lodge' tactic we used to employ!

Fucking hell. This is going to be a season to remember, isn't it? Home loss against Needham fucking Market at the weekend and now a 3-0 half time deficit at Enfield. Was hoping that with all the off field crap we might at least get something to cheer on the field. Clearly too much to ask for.

Yeah. I've given up on enthusiasm life for this season. We're certainly heading to oblivion off the field & now it looks like our destiny on the field isn't going to differ much.

Staines Town away on Saturday. Can't see us getting anything out of this one. Plod at home on the BH Monday might yield a point.

Well. This thread is going to be fun this year since its really only me & PP left here who support Isthmian clubs.

The bank holiday weekend was a resounding success for the red & white hooped wonders. Going in to the weekend with no victories from our first four league games we managed to beat Staines Town 2-0 on the road & then got lucky coming from behind to score twice in the final few minutes against Not Police. 6 very welcome points!

My dear Paddy, do not despair. Now it is September, the cricket season is coming to a close and the 'Chins are (as normal) out of the FA Cup and therefore able to concentrate on cocking up the league again, I am prepared (at least occasionally) to crash in on your and PP's personal grief. Which could be at an all time high after that VCD result (whom I note had Nicky Symons playing who - last time I heard - was performing very ineffectually for us).

Not that we can talk, crashing out to some bunch of has-been wannabes who spunked all their ill-gotten cash and had to reform as an AFC. Shocking. Would never happen to us. Oh.

Anyway - good luck for the season. And if you are still looking for a groundshare, West Ham Ladies have given us the elbow so feel free to move in.

Until Next Time, LURCHIN

Thought I'd better create a post to help easy Paddy's melancholia!

A fairly poor start for Dulwich, with woeful, soulless and extremely poor defensive shows against Leiston and Canvey Island mixed in with some nice attacking play in some other games.

I have to say that we're massively under-performing at the moment and we look very vulnerable to high balls at the back from set pieces. Preston Edwards is an excellent shot-stopper but he lacks confidence in crosses and I think this really affects the back 4.

Gavin Tomlin has been superb for us and looks every bit a player who's played regularly at football league level for a number of years.

I remember this league
Bet you only remember it in a kind of vague, reminiscing way though!

I remember it too. We've been stuck in it for 109 years! Might never get out! Eek!

You better, should we end up getting relegated at some point I want to see you in the Conference South. Or we can skip the whole relegation thing and you can join us up here.

Well, a 2-2 draw at home to Burgess Hill in another game we completely dominated on Saturday. We've got to start putting more of our chances away. Oh wait.....we smashed Grays 4-0 last night, but could have still, had a load more. Worryingly, Kargbo was stretchered off though; he's been excellent for us so far this year and scored a great goal to boot last night.

We've also now got our own TV station following the demise of Football Exclusives. Videos available here: http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/dulwichhamlet/videos/

Carshalton beat Godalming 10-0 tonight. Fair play to the scummy vermin that's a fantastic result regardless of league and opposition

Not like Godalming is a team in financial difficulty who has had to mash a team together either (unless I'm missing something).

K's continued their genius cunning plan of luring the rest of the league in to a sense of self-security by going down 2-1 at home to Bognor.

How are you enjoying watching the legend that is Craig Dundas? Hope you're looking after him in a style that befits his near deity status

Craig is a joy to watch. Notched two at the weekend v Wingate, hopefully another brace tonight.... shame he's only on loan for a month. Hopefully, Steve McKimm’s connection with Sutton will see the Angels extend that loan.... go on, you don't need him.... you've only got to play against the likes of Torquay **cough** et al and your squad's good enough to beat that pile of crap without Craig's help!

Whilst we've already beaten Torquay we do need goals. Plus Dundo is a Godlike legend at Gander Green Lane, the place needs him, and not just in mural form

Great game at Longmead last night between two very good footballing sides. Angels took a 2-0 lead into the break with goals from Folkes and a blinder from Luke Allen (worth seeing on Youtube once it's available). It really was a game of two halves as Leiston pulled an early goal back and then levelled the game at 2-2. A credit to the Ryman Prem.

A special mention to Leiston's No2 (can't remember his name), but he dealt with Nick Wheeler like no other defender has since Wheeler arrived at the club.

After watching some abysmal football at Macclesfield, Sutton, Woking and Borehamwood it was a pleasure to watch two teams who wanted to play football the way it should be played! Take note Torquay United.... you could be facing one (or both) of these outfits next season!
