dont know if this has been missed or not, but ITV have finally commissioned a 10 part show.

the tapings were held last weekend, and the roster they have managed to get signed up is definitely a who's who of British Wrestling:

Will Ospreay
Davey Boy Smith JR
Grado
Doug Williams
Rampage Brown
Sha Samuels
Lionheart
Kay Lee Ray
Viper
Martin Kirby
Joe Hendry
Bea Priestley
Nathan Cruz
Iestyn Rees
Kip Sabian
Robbie X
Justin Sysum
Adam Maxted
Gabriel Kidd
HT Drake
Liam Slater
CJ Banks

a certain Stu Bennett is also acting as the on screen authority figure. cant wait for this. hopefully it fares better than the ill fated 5 star wrestling that was on Freesport

What's everyone's thoughts on this so far? I have caught a couple of episodes and overall i have found it rather over produced and quite poor - no matches are that long. There are some good wrestlers on here which can do 20+ minute matches and i am not convinced that WOS is the place for them?

I saw half hour last weekend and it was like a panto. The crowd they had in wasn't right. Everything was very underwhelming.

but the panto format was what the old WOS Wrestling was all about, heroes and villains.

personally i have enjoyed the first 2 episodes, some of the camera angles and cutting hasnt been great but overall its been ok

That ladder match was a joke, what is the point if none of the ladder shots are shown.

Also starting with Grado as champion was a joke, Rampage is a typical WWE style champion too. I just haven't seen much positive. Will Ospreay is a fantastic talent, would love to see him in the WWE.
