I can't see the logic in the way Mkhitaryan is being "used" either. I don't mind an on form Mata keeping him out of the side but when he can't even make the bench or take Lingard's place, it's clear something is wrong.

Yep. It one be one thing if Rashford, Martial, Lingard, etc. were all firing along with Mata, but I think this is clearly some personal issue. Mkhitaryan isn't the most defensively responsible, but I wouldn't point to it as being a glaring weakness either. He is excellent in the press.

Funny, his inability to let things go is likely what invites half the abuse hurled his way.

I think it's more to do with his hatred of and very personal feud with Wenger (as well as his excellent record against Arsene's Arsenal) that plays into it in terms of Arsenal fans' hatred of him but in general, yes, he brings a lot of it on himself with his behaviour.

I spoke in general, rather than just for Arsenal fans. The Wenger feud is an an example of his inability to let things go. It's transcended mind games, we're in obsession territory. Arsene isn't without fault, but look at the past 2-3 years. One has certainly been more proactive in voicing criticism to the media, often unprompted.

I agree that most of the shit has been flung from one direction; Jose's. The thing that made me laugh the most in the whole saga was when Jose called Wenger a "voyeur" - a term much more applicable to Jose in the context of the feud.

I've just heard a pretty amazing stat, one that even Moyes avoided. With West Ham picking up a point at Old Trafford, it's the first time in over 30 years that United have failed to win four consecutive home league games. Please stay Jose.

EDIT - just checked and it's nearly 35 years. They failed to win five home games on the bounce between February and April 1982. I really want Spurs and Sunderland to get a result now.
