Prior to last night everything pointed to zero goals being scored here. Latics giving nothing away in defence, equally scoring little up front. Fleetwood certainly having a bit of a ' wobble' but hopefully having scored 3 away for the first time this season, and still unbeaten away since back end of last year will keep up their good form. We have yet to win at Boundary Park, time to put things right with a narrow 2-1 win

Where are you Oldham fans ? There was only one team turned up today and it was'nt Fleetwood, second best all over the pitch, thought we were challenging for a play off place, on this performance I would grab 6th place with both hands. I trust Conor McLaughlin had a few words with his brother .........

We were top draw today. I'd say we dominated that game for at least 80 minutes and it's one of the best performances of the season.

Well organised and created 4 or 5 good chances which is on the high side for us.
Never looked troubled at the back and it was Ripleys easiest clean sheet of the season. Only one team out there today and the neutral would be forgiven for thinking the league positions were reversed.

Obviously your better than that. You wouldn't be where you are if you weren't but I think we are becoming a bit of a bogey team for you guys. Even the defeat at your place earlier in the season was unlucky on our part.

Worthy winners Oldham won all the individual battles, second balls,and completely dominated, bullied Fleetwood.

If ever there was an example of horses for courses it was Holloway yesterday who did more in the 30 mins than all his time with us, completely different attitude and performance, the player Fleetwood thought they had recruited. He was definitely up for it.

We never play particularly well against Oldham who for me are a streetwise team in the Bolton mode, we tend to struggle against that though Rosler didn't help with his team selection, felt like he's holding people back for playoffs that we havent secured yet.

Oldham v Bolton will be a war of attrition, not for the faint hearted I suspect.
