Must win for us to keep up the momentum for the Morecambe game midweek. Crewe seem to be in good form at the moment, though I was surprised to see they had the worst away record in the division. I'm expecting a better Crewe than the one we breezed past at Gresty back in December.

Same team as Tuesday for us I would expect (with the exception of Hunt replacing the injured Hamer):

Iversen

Hunt - Clarke - Edmundson - Nepomuceno

Missilou - Maouche

Dearnely - Baxter - Branger

Lang
Latics 3-1 Crewe (Baxter, Lang & Clarke)

Hopefully a few Railwaymen make the trip given their upturn in form.

The mother of all six pointers in this epic battle for 11th.

We’ll gift Oldham the easiest goal they’ll score all season. We’ll definitely create numerous chances though. I predict a high scoring game (I really should be paid for insight this good).

Its still only an outside bet for both teams to make the play offs, but Carlisle prove a run takes you places.

The scoreline from Tuesday should give the team confidence, but it wasn't a 4-1 sort of game imo. We wasn't allowed to play, and were bullied from start to finish. If that game is anything to by for the rest of the season, we may struggle, but crewe historically are a good footballing team and in good form.

Still fancy us here tho to Nick it 1-0 but it'll be tight

I know we're on a great run at the moment, but it's mostly from our home form. Aside from the MK Dons game, we haven't shown anything to suggest our away form is being fixed. Blew a lead against Bury to lose(meh), but also blew leads against the teams in 22nd and 23rd to only draw. Doesn't fill me with huge confidence going into this game.

But, they keep proving me wrong, are high on confidence and have proven they can stick with almost every side in the division on their day. Need away wins if we are to make any sort of run at the top 7, but I'll take a point from this one.

It would be massive to win this one. But I just have a feeling this could be a game too far. As said above our away record is still very poor in general. (pretty sure it's joint worst in the league). I just hope we're on the start of a run away from home with with the last 3 games unbeaten.

Oldham 2-1 Crewe (Baxter,Lang, Porter) 4,650 (404 Crewe)

Not expecting a big away following with us taking 1700 away only 7 days ago.

Tbh I reckon these two clubs have the best chance of making a late dart for the play offs from a distance. Crewe are in form and we as a club seem to be making all the right moves off the pitch at the minute. If scholes gets the support I think he will we have every chance

Not at this one tomorrow as I'm up at Ibrox but it's a place we seem to usually get a good result at whether it be a draw or a win. I'm discounting last time as the worst team in our recent history (2015-16) were a spineless bunch of frauds who were already relegated.

Gonna go for a 1-1 draw. Scholes had the game all his own way on Tuesday against a terrible Yeovil side, so be interesting to see if he's tactically flexible should we get the first goal in the game.

Paul Scholes Isn’t the highest paid manager in the division for nothing boasting a 100% win record as a manager he will have the blues fired up for this one if only Mourinho had listened to Paul’s advice he would still be in charge at the scum that said I’m going for a 3-1 victory for PSBAWA

Scholes had it far from his own way against Yeovil. We were bullied throughout and only scored 2 late goals cos Yeovil opened up to get an equaliser.

Not that we didn't play well, but it was far from easy.

Doesn't sound like that great a performance, but I'll take yet another late goal and point all day. The belief in this team since we got that last minute equaliser at Morecambe is so different. 5 of our last 7 we've scored in the last 10 minutes of now. The away form still has issues as we have still only won twice on the road and have Tranmere, Cambridge and Mansfield next up, but 7 unbeaten cannot be sniffed at.

Didn't sound great, but great spirit shown to keep the unbeaten run going. A decent point as well with not many teams directly above winning.

We were awful for 90 mins, our worst performance since the Oldham home game, but turned up in injury time for our weekly late surge. It was a pretty terrible game overall, the pitch didn’t help in that respect, and not sure why Artell got all nostalgic about the dire hoof ball from earlier in the season. Pack it in, it’s awful.

Oh and please someone retrieve Ben Garratt from no mans land in time for next week.

Ref again spoiled it again. We say it every week. Slowed the game down at every opportunity and needlessly pulled it back time and time again.

I actually think we looked more comfortable today than we did midweek, playing against a team who at least attempt to play football on occasion rather than relying on brute force and thuggery. That said I thought we sat back far too early in the game and always needed that second, which never came.

It will be a learning curve for scholes, on seeing a game out, but hey ho, we go again midweek, win that, and 7 from 9 you have to be happy with.
