Fair play from the owners, you probably wouldn't make much money from a Tuesday night game v a southern team but it's a good thing for the fans.

We tried it in 2015 vs Southend, got 8,400 in and lost 1-0!

I might go to this, but it'd be last minute. Do you reckon it'll sell out?
Dont think it will sell out but i would turn up about half an hour before kick off just to be safe. Best bet is the rochdale road end (frizzell stand)

Going along to this one, can't be any worse than our performance on Saturday! Sat in the Oldham end with an Oldham fan. Hoping they do us a favour.

Drab first half, Oldham bossing the second so far. Posh look shocking!

Easy win in the end really. Like I said not a lot happened first half. Second half belonged to Oldham. 2-0 was the least they deserved. Posh really did look poor. Oldham could save themselves with more performances like that though.

good result for you lads tonight, did Holloway get a game ?
He did. Played fairly well but mistimed a few jumps for headers though. How many did he play for you guys? Was impressed with him more last season when he played against us for Oldham when on loan from Wycombe.

I still see the occasional rave review about Maddison - is he actually *that* good?

He was absolute toss tonight. Yes, he had a worldie of an effort in the 90th minute, but as me and a mate kept saying throughout the game - he just looks like one of those players that coasts through a game offering nothing, but is still capable of pulling a gem of a goal from nothing from distance.

TBh he never really got a good run in the team. Picked up an injury very early in the season and we saw little of him. Liked the guy in the few games he played and consider him a real handful coupled with plenty of skill. I think its a good move for him and wish him and latics well for the remainder of the season ( exc April 8th ! )

I've not seen League One football for a while, but I'm struggling to think of a poorer side I've seen than Peterborough. Keep believing lads.

Oldham were pretty decent though.

Attendance was around 7400. Shame that some fans were locked out (result of people taking tickets they didn't need). Didn't think there were 3000 empty seats in the home ends anyway.

Decent performance. 2 wins from 3 games since she's returned. Things are looking up.

7,224 has to be dissapointing considering free entry? Stadium was more or less half full for a free game.

There was probably 2500 spare seats in the away end and people locked out as well. There was no admittance without a ticket. People were going to the ticket office and picking 4 up just in case someone else wanted them but didn't use them.

If you didn't need a ticket the home ends at least would've been full

On the face of it I agree, that does look poor.

However, ignoring the Chaddy end which holds 3.4k, reduced the possible attendance to around 10k.

We had hundreds of people locked outside because people initiallly took a load of tickets they never ended up using (you could order 8 at a time), so it meant loads weren't able to get a ticket themselves.

It could probably have been managed a bit better and we would likely have got 8000, which would still be decent enough for us - we were never going to fill it out. It'll take a hell of a lot more than just one free game to entice the stayaways again.

Since getting injured Maddison has been awful on his return. Under McCann our football is utterly awful to watch. Couple that with some serious lightweights on a cold Tuesday night in Oldham and we were never going to succeed. Almost makes you wish for Westley to come back. :ffs:

All tickets were snapped up though. Problem was people took more tickets than they needed and then didnt turn up. ITs a shame because there were people locked out who hadn't got tickets in advance.
