We've only sold around 1,400 tickets for Sunday which is a bit of a shame considering we were given around 4,000 tickets. It's not as if we can blame TV scheduling either as we brought 5,000 to Coventry under similar circumstances, it may be nice to have a bit of space in an away end I suppose.

Wycombe fans making the journey north next week can see the fruit of the fans labour with our brand new seats all finished. Granted it probably won't be as major for you as it will be for us but it looks nice at least.

As of yesterday morning we had sold twice as many as Walsall for the match at their home fixture at the Bescot tomorrow.
Seems they've picked up a little and have sold 1900.

Don't think it is the new ground factor as we aint played Sunderland for about 20 years.

God only knows. We're a weird bunch.

I'd expect a massive drop in away attendance for the Walsall league game and the Walsall cup game a week later but the reasoning behind that is fairly obvious, why we brought so few to Port Vale will remain a mystery.

Speaking of Walsall another lucrative game against them may await but at least we'll be at home this time. 3 games against them in 3 different competitions in 10 days, some spectacle.

To be fair Stadium of light is a great stadium to visit, and I am sure Sunderland will not be in division one for long, so a great chance to visit a great stadium.

Definitely, but it's also expensive and difficult to get there and yet clubs are taking 4x their usual followings up there.
