Nah looked about right from other similar followings, ie Notts County. We don’t fiddle numbers like Chesterfield.

Made some good noise.

'Fiddled' in the same way a significant number of the 92 do. At least we are open about it and make available the figure of actual attendees at a later point.

Supposedly according to AdamStag we’ve fiddled our home attendance figures this season to such an extent that the actual number of people at Meadow Lane was lower than the number at Field Mill most weeks .

What club in their right mind would inflate their attendance. More fans = non-existent money to have to pay tax on.

On the other hand, years ago most clubs used to announce lower official attendances so they could pocket some of the cash paid on the gate.

We used to spend a happy 90 minutes at the CG doing our own estimates then comparing them to the figure given by the club.

How we did laugh.

Do things getter bigger or smaller due to alcohol?

Bigger to the fairer sex.

New season almost upon us: who will have the largest away support on the first Saturday?

I have a feeling The Mighty Mariners will take a good few to Morecambe (around 1,000), can't see any other club beating that looking at distances and previous followings for the away teams.

Plymouth will probably take 1,500 to Crewe.

We’ll sell out for our first away day at Grimsby the week after.

Think Walsall will beat you.

Plymouth fans say they should be bringing around 1500 up to our place.

If the takeover happens there’ll be more than a thousand.

We wont take anymore than about 400 to colchester but the away game at Salford after that should sell out.

Only a tenner a ticket at Salford too so imagine that will add a few more onto the away followings from teams there.

we have Salford on a Tuesday so that’s a missed sold out away end for them.

Newport, Exeter, Carlisle and Crawley, first four away games for us.

Can see us bottom of this away support league table after these four games.

Yeah us too, although we have them early enough in the season that we should still take a good load there.

I'm debating staying over at a mate's who lives in Todmorden for a few days and going to Oldham on the Saturday and then Salford on the Tuesday.

I’ll take friendlies if you are really that desperate to windmill, but home attendances are completely forbidden because Lincoln were a nightmare last season trying to get a pat on the back.

RE: Lincoln - that’s understandable. Isn’t it the first time in a very long time that they have actually managed to attract an half decent crowd?

We’ll have more than double on quite a few occasions. Bless ‘em.
