More crap spouted by Darren Way to excuse last night's defeat.

DW Facts: "The stats don't lie. We have the youngest team in all four divisions"

Actual facts: We have the =5th youngest squad in L2.
I know we're a division above and all that, but we're really really bad - so I'm surprised we won that 2-0

601 at vale tonight smashing the record for the lowest ever attendance at a Vale tie
Got a feeling we'll smash that next week versus Middlesboro under 8's.
They took 9 to Walsall last night.

I won a competition to go last night in a Limousine from my front door, lap dancers in the limo, free ale all night and a seat in the directors box.
Tell you what Emmerdale was a cracking episode instead :err:

ifollow was a tenner (crazy for that competition!) and usually snap at the chance to watch the Vale if on that when im not at the game but played FIFA instead as the wife was out!

Surely they wont keep with this mess much longer? That said it's been unlucky in that Coventry who take loads to Wembley and then Lincoln who are the only team who go all out for this got to the last two finals!

Be even lower against middlesborough i reckon as they only took 9 to walsall last night and burton brought 67.

Expect so, plus with seven home games in ten and this being a youth side less home fans would surely bother. Maybe 500. Shows how devalued it is when we get three times or so that for a friendly in pre season.

We’ve drawn 1-1 seven times so far this season. Boring bastards.

I'm very glad our game on Saturday has been postponed, we've still got several players out injured. It's now been confirmed that both Omar Sowumni and Diallang Jaiyesimi are out until the New Year because of the horrendous tackles on them by MK Dons players in a recent game. The fact neither got a red card is a disgrace.

Just been confirmed that Diallang Jaiyesimi is now out for the rest of the season with a ruptured ACL. This will no doubt please UTS as he likes to see opposition players getting badly injured.

Just letting you know i've ignored you so crack on because I can't see any of your drivel anymore.

I have ignored all the Grimsby posts about Lincoln on related match threads.

Strange why I don't see hardly any anymore, that's about 50% of all the posts! :gmc:

We’ve sold out our second allocation for Cambridge, so around 900 already with tickets still available via the home team.
I really hope we break the 1000 mark, it’s not often we get to do that and to have 2 in one season with Northampton away as well will be massive for the players.

Exeter away Saturday, very tough. Good news that Kaine Woolery played some part midweek in a training match against Plymouth and it sounds like Sid Nelson and Michael Doughty may be involved in some part, both I think are key for us this season.

Exeter were the best side I saw last season, (which isn’t saying too much given the dross my poor eyes had to endure) and I expect them to challenge hard for promotion this season.

I’ll be over the moon with a point.

Off to Essex today to see us lose against, what appears to be, a good Colchester side. They seem to be good at home, we seem to be bad away (Lincoln aside) and I cannot see that changing today.

Coffee seems to still be trying different things to see what works. I think he needs some more bite in midfield as playing Morais, Payne and Randall is just too powderpuff. Mind you, on the ball those three work really well.

I'm going to try to park at the park and ride just of the A12 and do the ten minute walk to the ground. Here's hoping.

Most of your players are used to over 1000 away fans ;-)

Shouldn't have any problems, just follow the footpath out of the back and it takes you round across the bridge. They've just opened up a new bar by reception too for the last few games which away fans are welcome in which you'd see coming from that direction.

Two of my three preseason bets are looking good to date. Have Imps to win the league, and Exeter (25/1??????) e/w , as in top 3 finish.

Early days but those two and MK look a strong top 3

I have no idea how Cambridge haven’t got something from that.

Agreed, but not wholly unexpected with just the one fit striker at the moment, and a not very good striker at that. You know you're in a mess when the options on the bench are all 18 year olds plus a very poor player in Osadebe.

I think you lot will be up there come April, along with Lincoln and Exeter. Strong at the back ad in the middle of the park, but perhaps could use another decent striker?? Having said that, it was clear at the start of the second 45 what Tisdale's plan was - sit back and hit us on the counter - which is actually quite a good plan seeing most of the goals we've let in this season have come from quick breakaways, but personally I thought his plan could've cost you the win.

How we could do with a couple of decent strikers right now :(

Exeter are pants. I was surprised at how bang average they were. Mega slow at the back.

Yet, along with the other piss-ass clubs in this league, we got beat offering jack shit up front.

Brown has to go.

It was just an off day up top I think. Agard was just coming back from injury and he’s perhaps our best finisher after Aneke, but there were 3 or 4 chances that Cambridge should have buried.

I’m absolutely delighted that Azeez missed from 2 yards out though. If he especially would have scored it would have scored it would have been awful.

Hope no-one was late or left too early for the Newport game!

Must be a record scoring your goals in the 1st and 98th minute!
