Fuming if we bring in Bowery to replace Lowe.

In fact, the whole idea of letting Lowe go stinks whilst people dress it up as a good idea or "no big loss". Our top scorer & most experienced player, whilst in a relegation battle to stay in the Football League. Only Crewe.
That sounds familiar.

Bowery is dreadful.

Rumours on our forum is we're trying to sign Pelly Ruddock.

Highly doubt that given what Jones has said in the press today about him taking his opportunity in central midfield and being impressed by his "growing maturity", whatever that may mean.

Ha not quite as bad I dont think!

Could see it happening at the end of the season if Pelly has STILL not kicked on and brought his undoubted promise to fruition, could see Jones getting fed up of waiting and letting him go, but not now.

Jordan Bowery to us on loan from Leyton Orient till the end of the season confirmed. Strange signing but we certainly won't be playing him out wide where Orient have been playing him.

Artell is also expecting another player to sign before the Doncaster game on Saturday, hopefully it'll be a midfielder.

Not heard anything about Lowe since we sacked Flitcroft. I don't think he'll be coming back here until the summer at least. If he comes back at all.

Our official club site claim that you lot are still interested in him although Artell has come out saying that he wants him to stay.

Artell doesn't sound entirely convinced. "We'll play it by ear". He's under contract; if we want to keep him, keep him.

Feck knows what's gone on with him. On face of it, he doesn't seem to be entirely committed to the club despite the cliche protests from him. I do wonder if he came of the pretence of a future coaching job, or if Davis blocking his move back to Bury has simply pissed him off. His comments when Davis went probably confirm that, so surprised we haven't given him a coaching role.

Still, far more useful and influential than Dagnall and important we keep him tbh. Wouldn't trust Bowery & Dagnall (& Udoh, Saunders, etc) to get the goals we need in a million years.

Are Portsmouth planning on giving any brilliant reserve players away for free again just like last season? :animatedf:

Strange how the other week the board were saying we'd need to ship players out to sign others and Dave's come out saying he wants to keep all three of Lowe, Hollands and Davis. The latter two, you would believe, appear absolute certs to leave the club.

He has played out wide once I think. He's predominantly played in a front two. Bare in mind that although Bowery has been very disappointing Simpson only got like three goals this season in a team that can't create anything. Will be interesting to see how he does, I fully expect a massive "meh" but you never know.

Oh great, we're also a team that "can't create anything" as well...

Connor Henderson signs for Crawley...Again.

To the end of the season with a years option. Undoubted talent but wanders around the pitch and looks lackadaisical.

Grimsby fans will confirm that.

He's played mainly up front, but it simply hasn't worked for him here. A combination of us being a clown college and Bowery becoming more and more laboured in his performances as the season has gone on have contributed to him only socring one deflected goal for us. He has set up something like seven goals though.

He did well at Oxford last season and we signed him on a three year deal, on good money but he has been dreadful overall value for money. The last few weeks have been hard to watch him, he's contributed next to nothing.

He may turn it around for you though.

Along with Jordan Bowery, it seems Alex Cisak, Callum Kennedy and Tom Parkes have also been put up for sale.

Cisak has probably been our best player, which isn't saying much. Parkes despite his recent dip in form has done ok I feel and Kennedy is ok for this level - Good delivery from a right sided in swinging corner, but can be suspect in one on ones defensively.

Unless we have ready made replacements ready then this is another suicide move by that c*** Becchetti.

Also heard another League Two club bid for Paul McCallum and the club have tried to force him to move on - But he doesn't want to right now, which is why he tweeted his "mystical tweet" yesterday.

Don't be suprised if we have zero players left by the end of this window. We won't even be replacing Jordan Bowery FFS. :eyes:

Unfortunately I can't confirm anything as I can't even remember him playing a game for us.
I think Hurst used to play him in the FA Trophy games of which I have never attended and if he ever played a league game I sure can't remember it.

I bet somebody had a word in Lowes shell after the Bury interest along the lines of that Davies's time was coming to an end (and in the timeframe our board operate in it was) and he may be in line for a managerial/coaching role, only problem for Ryan was that the person saying this obviously had no clowt, or was just bullshitting to keep him on board.

Hope he stays, but if he is pissed off with us then maybe it's best all round if we cut our losses.

Our fifth choice centre back Danny Pappoe has left us to sign for a club described as, and I kid you not, Maldivian giants!

Now I can understand wanting to swap sunny Sussex for the Indian Ocean but I can't see it being much good for his career.

Luke Coulson signs from Eastleigh for an undisclosed fee. Highly rated apparently and replaces the departed Luke Gambin.

Going the other way is Sam Muggleton. We must have some dirt on Allen given who has gone out and who has come in.

It's all part of the plan.

Martin Allen takes the Eastleigh job. Takes Barnet's unwanted players there while giving Barnet a bit of cash, meanwhile as he assesses the Eastleigh squad, any promising players get sent to Barnet.

The next step will be Barnet reappointing Martin Allen.

I doubt think you realise how much Allen looooves Muggleton. He wouldn't jettison him.

It's a very cunning plan, but Martin Allen doesn't know that the final part has been changed. He won't be returning.

It was quite a plausible explanation until your last sentence.
