You heard it first here, Clarke of Bradford City to Mansfield being off set with Green going to Bradford.

Good signing if so, not for £300k though. Personally wouldn't want to lose a proven goal-scorer in Green to get him either.

McQuoid. Meh. As above, technically very good but just doesn't impose himself on games enough and lets them pass him by. A shame really.

Coombes was never real. Typical twitter rumour. And again as above, PLEASE let signing #3 be a holding midfielder with a bit about him! Midfield is packed full of neat touch players who don't like to tackle.

So Plymouth have signed Rhys Healey on loan from Cardiff.
Because it is a winger it is sounding more and more like Matt Kennedy, a player I know nothing about beyond what is on Cardiff's website, does anyone else? He is Scottish so DA might have seen him play. Some are hoping it is Craig Noone, but I cannot see that - why would he drop down to league 2?

Billy Clarke is an excellent player. All he lacks is goals and physical presence, he's a nice bloke too. I always remember he was still chatting to supporters while taking an outside ice bath at half time in a friendly match. I would have told them all to piss off.

If you get him and keep Green you will make the play offs and possibly the promotion places.

Danny Rose is more than capable of getting well in to double figures goal wise if he actually got a string of games.

We paid a fee for him too!

You reckon Nick? You heard anything?

Can't see the sense in spending big money on him. Would be a good signing, and we could do with a target man but still, a lot of money...

Putting two and two together if I'm being honest.

- Carolyn said our target is 6 foot 4
- Evans has said his target is at a top end league one club
- Rumours are that Bradford would be willing to sell this transfer window to fund another striker

Could be way off as I can't see him wanting to drop down a level, but you never know...

Whats going on.

We're paying fees for players, signing decent players, not conceded in 4 and actually look like we might not be shit.

I'm not sure I like it :eye:

Wycombe have signed midfielder Sam Saunders on a free from Brentford. He's signed an 18 month contract which is fantastic news as i never though we could get him on loan again let alone sign permanently, he was class on loan 2 seasons ago and has played for Brentford this season but fell down the pecking order after an injury and new signings.

Yeah that's a great signing. Proper odious little oik though, he'll probably cripple one of our players tomorrow like he did last time we played against him.

Oh well in the play off final 2 seasons ago he was taken out within 5 seconds of the kick off and it's what Brown told his Southend players to do i reckon which must be the earliest substitution in the history of Wembley. Just read that he will be involved tomorrow my guess is as sub.

This is not a transfer rumour as such but Josh Gowling and Bignot have had a big falling out, they do not get on at all and Gowling is very opinionated and does not agree with a lot of stuff that Bignot does and has told him so and that is why he is currently not in the match day squad and so he is very unhappy.
He said ideally he wants to stay and play but he does not see himself getting any games with Bignot here and so he is on the lookout for a move but he wants to stay living in Caistor so he wants to try and play somewhere local.

Gowling fell out with our manager. He thought he should be playing every week despite the fact he was no where near good enough for league 1.

When he left he said if he never sets foot in Cardrizzle again it would suit him fine and that spending a Saturday afternoon with thunderous diarrhoea is more appealing than an afternoon at Brunton Park.

Wish Mitch Rose all the best, got the potential to be a very good player. He just needs to be played in the right position not at rightback.

He's quick, strong and pretty decent on the ball. just never did enough to dominate or control a game, which is what would make him a good player. Some good clips of what he can do on youtube, Currently he's not good enough for us but at newport if he plays every week he'll do very well.

Also how have newport got a squad of 34 players??

Gowling is an upper Conference/lower L2 level defender. Can't see where fish has got this info from unless he has an inside source but I'm not sure he's good enough anyway. Doesn't sound like the Gowling we've known the past two years.

Would have thought North Ferriby would be more his level. Always held the opinion that Gowling is shit.
Gowling was a huge part of our promotion winning side and is as good as Conference CB's get. Unfortunately he hasn't made the transition back into the FL.

My wife knows Gowling's girlfriend and she told her about it.
