Certainly got potential. He wasn't a guaranteed starter for us last season but is very versatile, being able to play left back, left mid, centre mid etc. He can score goals, although his passing lets him down. I doubt he'd get in your first XI, but he'd be one for the future.

Oh, and Tranmere fans hate him.
He'd be Lewie's understudy, but that all sounds promising. Especially the Tranmere stuff, I love that sort of thing :2thumb:

Dippy Don, a few rumours going around re Harley signing for MK on a free. Heard anything your end?

Would be fine with that one as he’s unlikely to fit into Taylor’s plans and Tisdale loves him. Plus he’s always injured and has one good game every three months

It's been mentioned but by nobody that I trust. We had him before in 2012/13 and got a goal in the famous 4-2 win at QPR. Not sure we need him to be fair, if we were to go in for anyone at Exeter it would be one of Boateng or Stockley, both of which are being spoken about more our end.

Would be surprised about either. Stockley because you say you won't pay a fee, and Boateng because I don't think he's as loyal to Tisdale as JMT is. He spent a lot of last season on the bench whilst Lloyd James was starting!

Ryan Watson from Barnet comes in on a free. Squad player by the looks of it but we need someone in the squad capable of pinging it so im happy enough. Expect D'Ath to be next in.

Hahahahahaha I’m so sorry that this has happened. Everyone’s already said what needed to be said but he’s really bad at the whole playing football thing. Goes missing so often.

Lightweight midfielder who doesn't do any part of the game well enough and probably not up to the standard you require. I thought I would be posting this in the confirmed signings thread in the National League forum.

We'd pay a fee, but out record is around £250k so it wouldn't be much.

Again, won't truly judge until I've seen him play. I remember Darren Potter being slated before he moved to us and he turned out to be one of our best players since we've been MK Dons
Works hard and I feel that this hard work helps mask his lack of playing ability. Versatile though, gets stuck in and never stops running. Will be a good squad player for you guys.
Fair enough, all he will be really

Got to say the reports on Watson are damning... let's hope he proves you all wrong

Our chairman confirmed that no other player has a clause in his contract similar to JMT’s so I can’t see any chance of you getting Stockley as he’s worth around £1M in today’s crazy market. Boateng would be cheaper but still would command a decent fee.

How about Lloyd James, he’s awesome and wouldn’t cost much

Rhys Oates and Zak Mills are our first signings of the summer. Oates looked a handful against us in our FA Cup game last season, no idea on Mills, Grimsby fans?

I rate Mills and think it was a mistake letting him go. He played at CB at times last season and came in for a bit of criticism, which I thought was harsh for a full back. He didn't have the best season, but our defence in general was woeful under Slade. The season before though, he was one of our better players in my opinion. I think you've got yourself a decent one there and I hope he goes on to prove Jolley wrong.

Mills is steady, wins a bit in the air, has a decent throw and is generally a good guy to have around. He has lapses in concentration, isn’t very attacking and his general passing and crossing is poor. Like I said, steady.

We've re-signed Joel Byrom after 6 years away. Not much of a surprise, played for Maamria at Northwich, followed him down to Stevenage and then to Preston.

Not sure what standard he's at now, but hopefully still capable at this level.

I can just echo what the others have said, good signing in my opinion I'd have kept him here I've always rated him.

Can still play a pass and was unlucky with injury last season a good footballer and great pro but his engine is going a bit to be fair.

That's not to say that he doesn't have a different type of clause though...

Louis Dodds signs on loan for the season, his 9th season at the Vale.

Should give us 8-10 goals which we missed last year at least!

He never scored that many even in the promotion season, bench warmer but useful sub. I'll say 4 or 5 goals.

We did warn you 12 months ago. Pathetic excuse of a footballer with a heart the size of a pea.
Not many footballers will terminate their contract with a year to run on it. Fair play to him. Can’t wish him any bad, he was just shit!

He just seemed too weak, he had some ability but it rarely came out. He pretty much owned goal of the season competition for us a three years back with three or four stunning goals.

Bury sign 24-year old defender Will Aimson from Blackpool on a 2-year deal.

Rumours Chris Maguire is attracting interest from Sunderland too. He would require a fee so that’s good news for us.
