Happy with this draw, don't think we've played each other competitively since 1893!

What sort of allocation will we get?
Probably about 1,500 which is an open end terrace behind the goal or the shitty Whinney Hill stand which is covered and has seats but very small. I've been waiting for this draw as I'm from Preston originally. We still have the friendly going ahead too beforehand.

Norwich Away, miles from civilisation.

That said, it's closer than a home game :)

£10 for our home game vs Bolton, crowd will still be around 2,500.

Assume our game at Hillsborough will be £15 tops. Reckon we will take a few, took 4200 in the JPT the other year on Sky so despite the negative feeling and boycotts by many we will stilll have 2500 there I reckon.

Why are you chuffed with that draw? The crowd won't be 20k like they normally get be more like 7k and we will lose and most likely be heavily beat on like we were at Huddersfield last season. The only good thing is we won't be losing to a lower league club Carlisle I think it was and that Michael Brown and Danny Pugh go back to there former club.

are you for real? ofcourse there won't be 20k but I tell you what if we get 7k at home for any game i'll give you my house

lowest crowd we had recently was 11k and that was Grimsby in the JPT, you've got the probability that when the fixtures are announced tomorrow and our league opener is away, that our first home game of the season will be Port Vale, a lot of our fans will want to see the new team quickly and not wait for the league fixture

my guess is 16k

Which is fine. Bolton is hardly going to be a crowd drawer regardless of the ticket prices. I'm just pleased at the rates. I was fully expecting £15 for adults and I would have been fine with it. £10 is superb from the club and it gives people a real incentive to go.

Reckon the crowd will be dictated by where we play on the opening day. At home, I think it'll be a lower crowd. Away, think it might be bigger, with it being our first home game of the season and with us only having 1 home friendly.

Good to see that we are such a great crowd puller!
I remember Peter Seeeney scored a belter in that game and we were 3-0 down at the time but we were that shit that season that we celebrated the goal like we'd won the league haha.

We should get a full house...cheeky little London derby. (But then that's not difficult with our "massive" ground")

To draw Scunthorpe away in the League Cup once is unfortunate. I'm not sure what doing it two years in a row is but I'm not bloody happy about it.

good news Port Vale fans our league opener is Away

so now you'll get a bit more of a crowd than you would have done if we had a home opener

16-19k my prediction

Our game with Villa has been moved to the Wednesday night for Sky, which is a pain in the arse as I doubt I can do the Wednesday.

We got Crawley away and Leeds away both in the space of a few days so I doubt many people will be able afford go both. As Crawley is opening day we may take 400 instead of 200 if Leeds charge 10 quid then over 1000 could go.
