A warm welcome to the smallest place to ever have a Football League club. Please introduce yourself and tell us about your favourite vegetables, FGR fans.

Hello there! I'm a veggie but I don't support Forest Green. I think it's well within my rights no?

I'm pretty sure you had one Forza. Probably got lost along with all the others due to #sflgate.

ps - and quite possibly more than one thread, as I also remember another one started by Impish before you lot were even promoted.

Fuck off Tranmere. Fuck off FGR. Fuck off. Fuck.

Hopefully World War 3 starts before we have to go there next season.

I'm not getting this FGR hate from my fellow Cambridge fans. FGR were the ones who gave us a warm welcome to connie footy with a 1-0 loss back in 2005 ;) Just thinking about the quality of the players we had back then makes me despair.

How long will they stay in The Football League with their financial losses? Once their owner gets bored they'll end up like Rushden & Diamonds.

Oh well!!
I guess they were only going to be kept out for so long before the millions finally bought a winning ticket.

Congrats and welcome to the FGR fans.

They will probably do the same as fleetwood take about 100 to every away game win and get promoted. I went there with vale about 3 years ago in the fa cup we won 3 2 and they had a decent social club by the ground.

Yep it was inevitable that they would make it here eventually. I'm pleased for the supporters to have something to celebrate but for the club itself I hope their stay is a short one.

Glad they're up. Much rather FGR than Tranmere who I've been loads of times before.

Was a good day and a welcoming club, in the middle of absolutely nowhere mind! Ground is a bit like Morecambes.

We actually ended up going back to Nailsworth 12 months later to play Shortwood in the cup the following season. Now that was remote!!!

Two new clubs to play our first league game against in them and Newport (although we played the old Newport a few times who even opened our ground in 1950)

Big congratulations to FGR great to see new members to the football league.

I'm certainly no football snob, talk of away fans support, the owner, veggie burgers get a life seriously.

Hope they have a successful season
Ahh I see I see, the two inflatable banning killjoy clubs sticking together eh?

Horrible joke club sustained by financial doping with about 6 supporters. Even with Dale Vince's vaunted ecopark I can't see where a fan base is expected to materialise out of. Beyond Stroud and Nailsworth all the nearby conurbations are closer to other larger established football league clubs. Tranmere have let down the football league today.

Thank you all, even those that hate us- we will try to be the friendly place on the hill as usual next season, so long as no North sea Haddocks full of air or beachballs come near . Do bring your own milk as well, the llamas have moved away and all we have is soya or oatmilk now

Glad we have more local venues to play at too, wasnt fun having the nearest game at Birmingham.

Weve a decent squad but that could all change as we all know before next season Kicks off. Anyone know when the fixtures are released?

Obviously hard to say- we had a good turnout at Cheltenham last year, Solihull Moors away on a Tuesday saw around 200.
