It's crazy how many teams there are who can potentially still go down from there, even if the majority of them are only a point or two from guaranteeing safety.

Oldham won't get relegated because WABLO. Would be good for us geographically to have Rochdale down (for another 41 year spell in the basement)

And have sacked their manager today.

I would love it if Franchise went all the way back to non-league. Can’t stand them and what they ‘stand’ for in football.
Back to non league? They were never there that is the entire point, i doubt there would be much sympathy.

Been quite a demise after making the Championship after years of play off failures in league one to be facing league two again. Seems the novelty of it all has worn off.

Makes it all the sweeter that AFC Wimbledon could stay up in the process. Feels like justice is slowly being done.

Much sympathy! There shouldnt be any.

Id like to find who would have sympathy for them. They should be located immediately and given a slap for such stupidity

Only been the once, soulless place, the fans seemed to treat it like a trip to the cinema rather than a footy match. It was literally something to do as opposed to going bowling or shopping.
Horrible club.

Annoyingly when we were in league 1 on this forum their fans are actually pretty decent but I can still never get over how their club came into existence. Will always be wrong.

It's more that we're spending poorly as to why we are down here. We still have one of the bigger average attendances in league 1 after all.

maybe they can see this as an opportunity. Make their way down to the southern league, Winkleman gets bored and leaves, they slowly work their way back and earn a little respect in the process.

You'll soon be adding us and Yeovil to this. Tuesday is surely a nailed on draw, keeps both sides up. Everyone's happy.

We'll probably spend most of the game passing it around slowly at the back without going forward. No one will be suspicious though, cos that's what we usually do.

Wonderfully comfortable, padded seats though.

Nah I don't so even though it's the sensible thing to do and fans of both sides will happily pay 20 quid for such fare. But thing is this is not Italian football, thankfully - or should that be sadly?

Yes of course. Obviously we would never get involved in match-fixing or anything dodgy like that*......

*At least this time it wont be fixed for us to lose, which was fucking typical.

I quite fancy the idea of AFC Fylde to come up, only because they are not far from Lytham and that is quite a nice play for a drinking session, hopefully the masses would pile into Blackpool and sup out of plastic glasses and us drinking snobs can get on with what we do best.

You can see that being trouble, United fans/lads who can't get away with playing up so easy in the Prem would jump on that bandwagon. Didn't the Salford reds cling onto FCUM for a while and cause problems, until the N40 turned out at Newcastle Town and gave them a not to friendly welcome?

If they do then Nailsworth's record of the smallest place to host a league club will prove short lived as Wesham is even smaller.

Not trying to split hairs, but is Wesham a district of Kirkham, or is it it's own separate place? I used to work in Preston and everybody seemed to refer to the area as Kirham & Wesham, in railway terms anyway?

There probably isn't really a way to say what the population of a place is without splitting hairs. I actually looked up Kirkham because I thought that's where Fylde were only for Wikipedia to describe it as being in Wesham with a separate entry. I guess if the train station is called Kirkham and Wesham rather than just 'Kirkham' it would suggest Wesham is a different place but who knows (or particularly cares).

So long as they have a chance of coming up then I care, bollocks to Tranmere and Wrexham, hold hat, and more crowd trouble, I just want to drink in peace these days.

I’d fancy Tranmere to come up be a good edge to that one.

Macclesfield is a great result, nice affluent area, plenty of pubs.. fairly local, what more could you want.

Salford will find it tough IMO, particularly if their managers remain there the full season. The don't come across as good man managers and I think that's get more important as you become a FT team etc.

We've got Nathan Arnold on loan there at the minute (well, he's on loan there but isn't there per se, nor here) and he said in a recent interview with our local paper that they're no-where near professional enough through the Club at the minute from the set-up to the match preparation/recovery etc.

Tranmere are flying at the moment so should get through the playoffs.

Sutton haven't got the steam left. Most dangerous are Fylde and Borehamwood.

Expect either Tranmere or Aldershot.
