I hated Bates and despised Cellino, so I'd say I'm one of the more sceptical fans especially when it comes to chairmen BUT this appears to be a really positive step. Radrizzani's company ultimately own ER so it'd still be a stumbling block if/when he sells up, but as for investment it can only be a good thing. Any money we spend now can, in theory be put to much better use. We save £1.5m per year straight away in rent payments.

Actually it makes it easier to sell, he'd offer ER along with the club, stick 5-10m on price of the stadium means it's a quick profit if needed.

That said it's good for Leeds as a club and the fans, no more being shit on.

I'm quite pleased, it's a benchmark for the new owner.
A lot of us have seen the dimishing of footie, from ground-sharing because of a rebuild, and ground sharing because of an owner's greed.
I think Leeds missed a bullet by their hanging on, even through renting their own home.... it could have gone very Pete Tong ~ imo ~ Post-Ridsdale and the various subterfuge ownerships of Bates, Elland Road, imo, if sold elsewher with no recall, would have been a killer.

I'm pleased, glad for the fans...even though they burnt our snack-bar down.....

Congratulations to Leeds on buying the ground back.
Can someone enlighten me about Elland Road 2020 please? Does it mean regeneration of the surrounding area or the stadium as well? I often wondered what Leeds would do at the ER end of the ground if they rebuilt as there's bugger all room there?

Thorp Arch is rumoured to be not getting repurchased and instead a new training facility built close to the ground, as for the rest no idea
