That’s horrendous. Hope he makes a speedy recovery. Feel for him and Orient as this should be a really positive time after suffering shit recent seasons.

I wish Justin all the best and a speedy recovery.

1st post says JE became ill at a gym. I'm wondering if he had been over-exercising.
A former work colleague was rushed to hospital from gym after training of the static oars and thought he could out-row Steve Redgrave.

All the best to the bloke, always seemed decent. Good manager and a very good player as well.

Very stressful job football management especially given all the shit they have to take from fans and media. Not good for anyone's health. Makes you think.

The news is not good, lots of rubbish on twitter as you’d expect. But the news is very, very bad.

However out of respect to the family I don’t think it’s appropriate to put anything else on the matter until JEs family have done what they feel is best.

Stay strong Justin we’re all routing for you big man.

I don't believe this is stress related. Also it has come at a time where he seemed in excellent health and shape. My friend had a photo taken with him on Saturday in Madrid and he seemed in a great place. He has also been very happy at Orient and his family have stated before it is the happiest he has been personally in years. IF he has fallen ill while at a gym it is probably exercise related and has maybe exposed an underlying illness. It's terrible news regardless. My Spurs supporting friend is very shaken as he spent a large part of last Saturday afternoon with him and can't quite fathom how all this suddenly unfolded a little over 24 hrs later especially given how well Justin seemed.

Would also like to add Justin was incredibly fit for his age and would put to shame people 10 years younger. But for an old knee injury from his playing days was going to run the London Marathon this year. This is what makes it all the more shocking. I am praying for him.

You did the right thing there, all the shit that's spouted by idiots all over social media is bad enough as it is.

I hope and pray he pulls through this.

Dreadful news. Can remember him as a player for Spurs. Makes me feel very conscious of my own mortality.

Very sad news. Remembered as the gaffer that helped regained F L status for County.
