Not nervous at all it's Arsenal's spot to lose imo would say we have an outside chance here but not expecting anything.
A nice easy one for Liverpool to wrap up fourth place and a Champions League qualification place for next season.
Pray for Smat. Pray for Wenger.
You know it's Liverpool playing, right? We never do anything easily.
I agree with Bilo, Arsenal are the favourites here.
Blah blah blah, enjoy Champions League if you get past the qualifier.
Wouldn't like Napoli if it came to pass, but the others I think we'd have a great chance with.
You never know, City might fuck up and let you slip into third.
Very doubtful. Can but hope though. Maybe Mazzarri will take the leash off and get at City eh.
Outside chance? For fuck sake. It really is a fucking sad state of affairs when any Liverpool fan talks about a home game against the side that has finished 19th and with one league victory in 6 months (against the only team that has finished below them) as an "outside chance", no matter what is at stake in the game. Sod the size of raisins, we're talking grains of sand here.
2-0 and top 4.
I did predict elsewhere 3 - 0, but its not going to be that easy.
No one claimed it would be easy, winning might be well difficult tomorrow, we have made that into a fine art against shit teams this season. But I find the talk of it being "Arsenal's spot to lose" frankly fucking ridiculous given the circumstances. Only one of the teams have a spot in the top 4 in their own hands. Arsenal are playing Everton and realistically have to win given the fact we have a +2 superior goal difference. We have to match or better their result against a team that is infinitely worse than their own opposition.
In short, no Liverpool fan should be claiming it's Arsenal's to lose and even if we end up losing and Arsenal take do 4th spot, it doesn't make such a claim any less ridiculous.
Don't know about anything else but we are favorites for..
I'd expect Everton to throw their game against Arsenal and for Arsenal to grab an early lead, and the longer our game stays 0-0 the more anxious and desperate things will get.
Surely there's no way even we can bottle this? I think we'll win, but with Liverpool it's generally more hope than expectation.
Calm down Pags it's a running joke.
Of course we're favorites, of course we should win, and naturally I'm bricking it.
Hearing unconfirmed reports that Liverpool's players enjoyed a hearty lasagna for dinner last night.
Firmino and Sturridge to start according to rumors, so I'm going for a 4-0 win for us.
Also City gonna fcuk it up (I hope).
Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Matip, Milner, Can, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Coutinho, Firmino, Sturridge.
Strongest XI we've been able to put out since December and we're still missing two key players in Henderson and Mané. Goes to show how many injuries we've had. Hopefully it's a diamond rather than Firmino shifted out to his definite irrelevance on the wing.
Sounds like Liverpool are getting all the help they need.
Contact was outside the box tbf.
You know what Middlesbrough might just contribute to something before they leave? Nearly half of the job done.
You can stop shitting it now.
I hope that comment wasn't directed at Pagnell. He's the only Liverpool fan on here with a large pair of testicles.
Saltire, G-Dragon and Bilo have been quivering in the corner crying whilst Shane has been frothing at the mouth shouting "wind your neck in" at everyone.
Horrible, absolutely horrible. Celebrated that goal more than I can remember celebrating any other.
And no it wasn't a pen, watch it yourself. The contact was outside the box, he kept on running and then went down like he'd been shot.
Just needed that first goal for the team to throw the anxiety away.
Second half less horrible. Middlesbrough look like world beaters compared to West Ham last week though, at least they've tried.
Can I shock you? I like the Europa League.
Well done Liverpool. Hope you have a more interesting time in the CL than we do.
Never in doubt.
Weird seeing Arsenal finish outside the top 4, even for an old fucker like me.
