Barnet.

Macc, ourselves, Cheltenham and Grimsby have all struggled in at least one season since coming up. Orient might well do to. All those teams have had to totally rebuild their squads to become competitive.
Barnet didn't go straight back down did they? They went straight back up when they came down before that but they went down last time in their second, maybe even third, season didn't they?

Orient's current XI and bench looks weak from what I know. Was gonna comment on this in the summer, but it felt a bit like putting the boot in after what they've been through. Unless he's improved, Widdowson should be nowhere near a L2 defence. Craig Clay, I liked him in the Conference at times for us but never looked up to the job in L2. Lee Angol, we all know there's a player in there, he just hasn't surfaced for a couple of years. Was glad he didn't end up signing him in at least 2 of the last 3 or 4 windows.

Is it possible Sol Campbell could end up managing Orient?

Tbf he didn't say straight back down, so I assumed he meant soon after coming up, like the way teams coming up to the Prem might just about survive a season or two but ultimately be out of their depth, unless they totally rebuild their squad. That is starting to happen more and more between the Conference and League 2.

Ah yeah, I misread that. I thought we were talking straight back down.

Not sure Barnet dropping justifies making it more difficult for NL teams getting into Division 2. It's the same across all divisions. FGR pulling up the ladder after themselves:bg:

We have a young talented squad as opposed to an experienced one - which is what Salford had as they come up with us.

Losing our 2 main strikers was always going to be a kick in the balls, both young, hungry and talented players

Joe widdowson and Craig Clay we’re both excellent for us last season - Clay won our player of the year award and has picked up where he left off last season, he looks good so far.

The obvious disadvantage is what happened in the summer, until you actually experience it you cannot imagine the grief that follows when your manager passes away suddenly, only Macclesfield anywhere in the EFL will truly understand what it can do and the mental scaring it can leave on players and club staff.

We all accept that we will struggle, if our board have to make a change then they will. In terms of ability we’ve got a talented team, but we may need an experienced manager to guide us away from trouble.

One or two of our players aren’t up to League standard as well, like Matt Harrold, James Alabi and Dean Brill (Although he isn’t as out of his depth as the other two).
