Bournemouth have been in freefall lately so we should win this one without too much trouble - this is also a big chance to overtake one of Arsenal or Liverpool (or gain points on both) with them facing each other later in the day.

What Dirk said
:p

A spirited performance yet defeat against City, followed up by a rather unlucky and slightly unjust defeat at West Brom have at least seen us show signs of perking up again, as opposed to the tepid and lifeless defeats against say Hull or Palace a while back. But away at Old Trafford isn't exactly the game you want to get yourselves going again during a bad run.

Ex-United lad Josh King is scoring a goal a game at the moment since being given a run up front. He's a bright hope. It's just everything behind him that's a struggle currently!

Goalkeeper Artur Boruc retired from international duty with Poland during the week, the timing of which is interesting given his monumental fuck up at The Hawthorns. Boruc knows we tried to replace him in January. Boruc knows he's had a poor season since a bright start. Boruc knows and we all know his time at AFCB and at the top level is likely coming to an end.

I hope United's incompetent security staff will be checking the toilets thoroughly this time...After wasting my time and money going up to that farce, I'm staying down south tomorrow.

We just have to try and avoid a pounding I think.

We have two very big and winnable home games in the next two weeks, so all I'm hoping for is we show a bit of solidity (Won't happen) at the back and give us a good platform to build upon next week.

Hamstringing ourselves unnecessarily by bringing in Rooney and leaving Herrera on the bench. Hoping Shaw proves a point.

Watching this in bed as, as Salty will tell you, I am at death's door.

We've picked a very lightweight and attacking side. I'm not especially happy with it, our bench contains several players I'd consider better than some starters.

Hey ho, we'll give it a go as ever. No sitting back and parking a bus.

Mings and Ibra should both be off. I'm not sure what Surman has done wrong?

He pushed Ibra straight after the incident, daft really.

Both will be getting hefty bans for those actions.

Yeah, Mings should have been sent off for reckless play and Ibrahimovic doesn't let things like that go. Did Surman get a second yellow for dissent? United should be a few ahead at this point, but lucky not to have lost Ibra for the second half. Three match ban seems likely, including the FA Cup match with Chelsea. Idiot.

Edit: Ah, the push.

Wonder if Mourinho will bring up Wenger when they ask him about Zlatan.

Should be 10 vs 8, Kevin Friend has missed sendings off of Ibrahimovic, Mings and Arter. Got second penalty decision wrong, his team have missed numerous off the ball incidents and given yellows for things that weren't yellows. United have been dreadful since the sending off, they should have been a few up when it was 11 vs 11. Funny game, eh? If this remains a draw, it's an absolutely shocking result for United with a chance to overtake Liverpool and Arsenal against a side in dismal form.

Send Friend to the Conference. There should be about 8 minutes added to this one.

Pogba has been a massive flop but he'll do a dab to keep the 14 year old fan boys with him.

Possibly the most bizarre game of football I've ever witnessed.

I'm putting it down to my serious illness, the whole match must've been a series of illness-induced hallucinations. There's no way Ibrahimovic and Pogba were that shite in front of goal today. There's no way Carrick over hit every forward pass he attempted. There's no way an Eddie Howe team made a Mourinho team look positively naive when it came to the "dark arts". There's just no way.

I'll check the real result later.

We are always liable to drop points, just not good enough.

More than anything else what I take away from that is thst i am just sick of the time wasting that goes on now. It seems to have got worse season on season. Literally any team who is getting a positive result just start throwing themselves to the ground pretending to be injured, taking an age over set pieces , taking two minutes to walk off the pitch.

Its just horrible to watch and spoils any enjoyment from the game.

I would be all up for taking it out of the refs hands. Whenever the ball is not in direct play the clock stops. Do the maths , work out how much the 90 minutes needs to be reduced to and just get it done because its got completely out of control.

What an immense result, backs to the wall defending. Phycologically massive to take the point from that, a late winner would have crushed us. Instead that'll be a huge confidence boost.

Will be interested to see how Ibrahimovic and Mings are treated retrospectively. Suspect I know the answer, and Mings will be hammered.

Quite rightly, it was brutal.
