rudebwoyben it seems to me from the outside Barnet started spending decent money / making interesting signings as soon as Allen left. What's the story behind that, did TK not fancy Allen with money, did Allen have money? It just seems weird Barnet are paying £100k for Santos the second Allen has gone, more than that for Coulson, especially as he left over the financial services.

Allen preferred signing old players on high wages, as soon as he left the funds from his compo, selling N'Gala, Togwell and Gambin were re-invested. Overall the difference between our in and out transfer fees was fairly small. We've made a killing on Allen going to Eastleigh.
