Should frame that last bit :)

thought we just edged it
super striker Effiong ought to have had a hat-trick
Cumberbatch header where he was too short & great 1-on-1 save by your keeper at the end
our manager thought you were the best team he seen this season!

Both keepers made some great saves - was right behind Worgan’s where he managed to get his face in the way, guess it was a bit lucky but still got no idea how he managed to keep it out. Effiong was a real handful but wasteful in front of goal, guess that’s why he’s at this level.

None league and there's no way out …. great chant

Another two points thrown away, we need to take our chances should have had the game sown up by the hour mark, simple misses , becoming a curse this home form issue , a good game all round both teams attacking and defending well

When it happened earlier in the season against Wrexham we were moved to the Sunday, this is possibly more likely given the distance the oppo fans would have to travel.

Hang on , this is the national league, since when have they worried about the fans, Dover away at Barrow for a 12-15 KO

I thought we were worth a draw . Dover had some good chances, so did we. Really impressed with our spirit this season, good teams tend to score late.
If Wes Thomas could finish he'd be in the Championship.
Thomas finishing for us last season was quality it was just his attitude that stunk.
In fact one goal he scored v Tranmere was such a good finish it was compared to Diego Maradona at his finest.

Sheridan sounds like he's about to have a breakdown on the highlights show. His continued employment is so confusing.

It took Chesterfield nearly all season to sack Martin Allen who hadn't won in about 30 matches in this joke pub league. Sheridan has got until Christmas at least.

If he hadn't lost the dressing room before, Sheriden just threw it under the bus last night. :fl:

Barrow...the best team we’ve faced so far, easily so. Deserved winners.
Kizzi and Bush back from suspension for Tuesday eve.

2 relegated teams battling it out in a drab 0-0. Looks like we haven’t learned anything from last season.

Felt like we had decent posession especially in their half, and Chislett was trying to work his magic, but we have absolutely no firepower in front of him (Connor Shields needs adding to the thread about strikers).

Bettamer looked rusty when he came on (understandable), but at least showed good movement and stretched their defence a couple of times.

Thought Chorley should have had a penalty near the end, looked like Mullings rugby tackled their 6 to the ground after not looking at the ball during the whole corner phase.

As for Chorley, they opened us up twice in the first 15 minutes and showed they are as good at shooting as we are. After that they didnt really create much either.

Two sides that are going down on current performances/form

A LOT! Jon Stead on £2k a week, which pretty much swallows up their gate money. Do the math. :£:£:£

They've had 5 consecutive 3 figure crowds, which is fairly consistent with their status as the Cream Tea and Buttered Scone capital of the UK. What is the point? What IS the point? :ds:

In fairness we didn't deserve to win that today, you were much better than us in the second half.
Yep, and they hit the post in the first half as well.

He's scored a couple of class goals for us but he's missed a lot of good chances, one on one's are not his strong point.

Bizarre that some Pools fans are claiming one of our fans threw a padlock at their keeper after their winner yesterday. It didn't happen.

Killip claimed it happened to be fair, seems like a strange thing to bring up here?
