Some HUGE games there. This could well be the pivotal gameweek, good luck to Orient. Orient winning is the most ideal result for ourselves, as we target 3rd place but we rarely ever get a result at Halifax and we've been mostly poor on the road this season. I can't wait anyway, we should be taking a decent amount up.

A draw for Orient and it's in the bag IMO but that match will be a war. They will have to go through HELL to win. Just don't fall for their antics and get someone sent off.

But Braintree don't seem to realise that they can't stay up, they've been winning games non-stop and showing title-winning form since their relegation was confirmed, so right now you can't say that's a definite win for Orient next weekend.

A draw in the Evil derby would be helpful also.

Halifax's European Cup Final against us hopefully we're still in a position where we control our own fate and secure 4th next week.

Hopefully Orient do us a favour in the battle for 3rd, but I can't see us beating Halifax.. we never do.

Be a glorious away day though in this weather!

1st time in 3 seasons I don't get to applaud an already relegated home team onto the pitch in what should be a thank Christ that's all over experience

B2TF and the rest of the Halifax crew, are there any good beer gardens in Halifax? I'm coming in by train.

So by my reckoning a draw for Orient here and a 1 goal win over Braintree should be enough unless S***ord win both their 2 games by a combined 5 goals.
Don’t fuck this up Orient, all of League 2 are rooting for you.

Good luck to Orient and Fylde tomorrow - an Orient win and a point or more for Fylde at Salford and I can collect my winnings from William Hill :)
And Fylde please go up via the play-offs (if Chorley come up) as we'd much rather play Chorley at Christmas/New Year than you lot again...

Don't know about beer gardens but The Old Post office (the official club pub), The Three Pigeons (the unofficial and actual club pub) and The Shears Inn (a 16th century gem, hidden away among the old mills) are all a short walk from the station. The Shears car park doubles as a beer garden and is fine when the weather is hot. Google for more information.

Good luck getting your second win and finally squaring the 10 games series. :ds:

I would expect us to rotate one or two tomorrow. Can see Matt Harrold coming in and maybe Jamie Turley.

Either way I am taking an extra pair of pants with me in case they're needed.

Only like two buses an hour from Solihull town centre to their ground in the middle of nowhere, sigh.

It's a land rover factory. Solihull is shite.

I'm going on a onedecentlester-esque hiatus from this forum after that. I'm not sticking around for whatever B2TF has in his locker.

It's always the highlight of their season when we come to town. Sounds like we went for it trying to get the winner because top 3 was still there for us.

I'd back us at home against Harrogate or Eastleigh but we aren't winning away to Salford or Solihoof.

The general National League rule is one Proper Club and one tinpotter get promotion. Orient have taken the decisions out of the National League's hands by winning the league.

But for some poor finishing and lucky goalkeeping, could have been a proper thumping. I'd guess that we had over 20 good chances, while our keeper had nowt to do. Hartlepool defence sliced EVERYTHING straight up in the air - number 34 the worst offenders, while Kioso was terrible too.

Anyone who cares, check out Josh Kay's amazing overhead kick. Only on the field 10 seconds, it has to be one of the best first touches ever seen!
