Delighted and surprised to see Barrow 2-0 up away at Aldershot - it's been a dreadful run that's turned a lot of 'fans' on the players and manager, so we were desperate for a win. I hope it's more a case of us playing well than Aldershot being shit.

Carbon copy of the playoff final in which we also got Edinburgh'd. Even the time of the goals were exactly the same and that it was the star forward getting the all-important first.

We had our clear chances and missed them and got punished by brilliant finishing. Bonne didn't have a kick in the entire game until that moment, great striker. Just a loose ball after a corner was half cleared and he just lashed it into the top corner.

It was a gripping game really, felt like a real old school match. If they keep Bonne then Orient can beat The Evil to the title, and I'll be supporting them all the way.

We are what we knew, solid but have no quality up front and will not be able to stay with teams who have top strikers as the season progresses.

Sounded awful on the radio (for us anyway) we're just a soft touch, we may as well put an Alsatian upfront instead of Luke James, both just run around a lot chasing after balls.

Bates has lost a lot of the fans after today, feels like the beginning of the end for him.

Losing 1-0 at home to Maidenhead without a serious shot on target against the worst defence in the league is about as typical as Sutton can get

Koroma almost scored the goal of the season too. Beat about 35 of our players and curled it onto the post from 20 yards.

Thought we played ok today. As previously said the difference was in front of goal. Bonne had 1 sight of goal and buries it. Pyke one on one with the gk and hits it straight at him. It was a good game and we deserved at least a point but unless we get a striker in we will miss out again. Decent crowd and felt like a proper game.

Bizarre line up with players available, bizarre formation with players available and a lack of game plan.
We were the better side in the second half but it means absolutely nothing.
As Mike and the Mechanics said, “looking back over my shoulder”.

Gutted I couldn't make it today, sounds like we played well. Can't grumble at four goals and a clean sheet. Good to see Cheeky get a start and bag a couple of goals too.

Maidenhead and Aldershot away coming up, a good chance to get a run of results going hopefully.

Have to agree with Master D, a very tight affair which Wrexham did edge - but they didn’t take their two key chances with Brill saving us twice, Bonne had one chance after Pearson did a very good job marking him in open play and made no mistake with it.

Wrexham didn’t deserve to lose, a draw probably would’ve been about right, but we’ve been really good at scoring late on this season and being hard to beat. A good finish from Brophy at the end after James Alabi made a nuisance of himself.

Wouldn’t want to play Wrexham in the playoffs, a good side who will be up there at the end. The signing of Bobby Grant today could be huge for them.

We were dire today, no surprise to see such a low attendance again when fans know they are going to be served up with uninspiring dross at home, even after a decent result in midweek. Our attacking play is absolutely painful. No pace or creativity despite a fair bit of quality in the squad. After rightly dropping him after an awful first few games of the season, Still has brought Dan Sparkes back into the fold, who offers about as much electricity down the left as an old car battery leaking acid in a scrapyard. Add his insistence on subbing Fonguck for Sparkes in every game now plus his really odd obsession with Josh Walker - a promising young player but nowhere near the level of Coulthirst and Tarpey, who aren't even making the matchday squad now, and it looks like we are destined for mid-table. Most fans are so jaded after two years of awfulness that mid-table mediocrity might seem okay in comparison, but it's completely unacceptable on our budget, which should see us in the top 3.

Quigley!! How on earth does he play at this level and why on earth did we sign him?
What an absolute shower of s**t

We said the same when we signed Mullins from Maidstone. 3 games and he’s been banished to the reserves. Jay Saunders deserves to never work again after signing the 2 of them to lead Maidstone’s Line this season. Mind you, your manager keeps playing Quigley which is a bit worrying.

Hopefully we follow suit and get rid ASAP. His shot in the first half with practically an open goal was...it was like...I just have no words.
He actually gets paid to play football!!!!
Astonishing.

You did what you needed to do to get the result. Started well and deserved the lead. Not much went your way second half but two chances on the break and a goal to kill the game.
Good effort from your keeper, made three really smart saves today. Well done on dragging yourselves out of the drop zone.

Very tactical game I thought and looked a 0-0 all the way but settled by 2 corners, Pearson missed a free header from one. He must have thought anything on target and it's in, not sure how it stayed out. Then a corner the other end where it is half cleared but fell to Bonne and he hit a brilliant shot and that was it, we were never coming back after conceding that as it sucked the life out of everyone and we ended up all over the place until the end of the match.

As a geeky football fan I was watching him fairly closely throughout and honest to god it was the first thing he did in the game. He had no sniff of a chance until then which is a credit to how organised we are and I wouldn't even say it was much of a chance, 9 times out of 10 there would not be a goal from the situation. I don't think there was a corner in the game until about an hour in. We'll be in the playoffs but unless we get a quality frontman in soon there won't be much point in taking part in them.

Almost 6500 there.

As a side note, we’ve now played all of the rest of the top six and gone unbeaten. Particularly impressive is the fact that five of those were away from home.

Salford 1-1 Orient
Gateshead 1-1 Orient
Orient 3-0 Solihoof
Harrogate 0-3 Orient
Fylde 1-3 Orient
Wrexham 0-2 Orient

Chesterfield are in the relegation zone in tinpot Non League. Rele-fucking-gation zone they're in.

They've not won since August and the manager is STILL there. There would honestly be riots at the ground if this was us, I find it mind-boggling. The chairman and directors would be getting home visits from our fans if this was going on. Do you want us to do it for you?

Utterly confused by this.
Would have given them a bad start from the shock factor and then expected them to pull up the league like Orient last year.
They’re in freefall.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but that is comfortably the worst we have been all season at home. The fact Waddock made 3 changes at half time says it all. I spent 5 minutes working out if we had any contenders for MOTM and concluded that the full backs were ok and a couple of others though Barrett at least provided a bit of a threat. When your 2nd went in half of the East Bank left, while half of what was left booed Lelan every time he touched the ball. Not seen our fans turn like that in a quite a long time.

Without Rendell we are hopeless and all I want is for us getting to 50 points ASAP.

Leyton Orient away on Tuesday, if they dont beat us by at least 3 goals they should be given a points deduction.

The only positive today is that East Thurrock lost so we cant be embarassed by them in the Trophy again this year.

We dominated most of that game, but Orient proved why strikers are the most valuable players in the game. Enjoy the win, hope we see you in league 2 next season.

Very tactical. We always setup away from home to not get beat, we don't go all out attack. We pen teams in and work off set plays mainly and relying on our front four to conjour up something with their quality between them.

One of the reasons you put us under pressure was because Bonne and Koroma weren't keeping the ball up front for us, both have their uses as you saw today for different reasons - But both are still young and at times lightweight and naive. Koroma lost the ball quite a few times cheaply and Bonne worked hard, but literally had one chance all game.

Our two centre halfs have gone under the radar to most this season, Josh Coulson and Marvin Ekpetita have been superb and today both defended very well for most of the game.

Hardly surprising that the scabs are surrendering without a whimper.
