Eastleigh are a random side. Were probably the best team in the playoffs last season but exhaustion did for them.

Sounds like we battered Barnet in the 1st half, then they battered us in the 2nd.

Draw a fair result.
You were the better side.

Our loanee and the setup to cope with 6 missing defenders didnt work. Whatever Curry said at halftime got them playing better but we had no more chances than Torquay.

Linesman on one side was the worst i've ever seen, waving for non existent fouls which resulted in players getting booked for decent.

Honestly though, the ref got so much wrong it was laughable. Not sure how you can say a commentator is biased if you can't see what they are commentating on?

Yeah, it's fair enough to win when not playing well - the bitterness just stems from how bad the bastards in black were.

Just noticed who the ref was.
Without doubt the worst ‘ref’ i’ve seen.
Cost us a win against Flyde the other week & last season against Bromley, the little fat twat.

Expect him to be promoted to the Football League then.
The ref that robbed us in the play off final v Bristol Rovers was then promoted to the Football League despite him admitting that the reason he didn’t send their keeper off for deliberate handball outside the box was because he ‘didn’t want to spoil the game’.
Twat.

Murphy out with another hamstring injury. Lee and Alcock out injured. We're picking up so many injuries because we have no choice but to play players who aren't fit. We're nailed on for relegation unless something comes out of the blue. The takeover isn't going to happen so for now we're stuck with our idiot owners and no money.

Eastleigh 2 up on Solihull. Can't work this league out. All of the favourites have had very indifferent starts.

Really, this suits Notts County down to a tee. They'd have been expecting to probably be a good 8-10 points behind the likes of Fylde, Wrexham, Solihull at this stage but they'll pretty much level pegging. Inevitably, once everything settles down and this crazy schedule moves down to the usual 1 game a week, I'd expect the big names to start climbing.
You're new here, aintcha fella? :fl:

Another comeback draw keeps us hovering outside the play offs.

Based on what I heard, we were pretty fortunate to come away with anything so that’s got to be seen as a good point.

Need to pick up a win soon though, as that’s now 4 without a win. And with so many of the expected front runners making poor starts, we need to take advantage if we are to trouble the top 7.

Nine more points from that. Why do all these sides bother being full-time? The BELTs must hate seeing our postmen and milkmen at the top of the league.

Another good result all the same. Whisper it quietly, but if we can avoid injuries then County are going to threaten the playoffs this season

Are Stockport full time again? Really hoping the good start is kept up for the rest of the season, be fantastic to have Stockport back in the league, great away day.

Hessenthaler agreed it was a definite red card.

How can any team complain about refs when Ricky Shit Lid Modeste is throwing himself to the floor winning free kicks for 90% of the game?

Nope, we are hybrid - pointless being full time on our current budget.

Our team/squad is actually weaker than the one we won promotion with last season and we’ve only got 17 players.

Pleasantly surprised with how many points we have managed to get so far but unless we add a couple of quality players then i’d be more than happy to settle for mid table mediocrity.

No argument about the red , have not met any who doesn't but please don't tell that was a good performance from the referee, if you do , you were not there to day ……… and 90% of the game , where were you ,up with the fairies , he got subbed after 60 mins

I'm quietly very happy with where we are in the table, if not totally happy with the results and performances so far.

The fact Agyepong is more of a goal threat on one leg than Panayiotu, Shields and Mullings combined, is why we have one of the 4 relegation spots booked.

F*ck, that was hot!

An easy trip to sunny Edgeware on a BH Monday with hardly any traffic on the road... is what I was hoping for.... but no, Dartford Tunnel completely rampacked north bound and after what seemed like a lifetime got through it's all inexplicably clear (so glad they removed the toll booths to make the journey smoother).

Finally arriving at the The Hive with about half hour to kick-off. Purchased tickets... £20 each! I told they lady in the ticket office I didn't want a season ticket just a ticket for today's match... she smiled as though she hadn't heard that quip before. Oh, did I mention it's £6 to park at the ground (or if you're savvy enough, unlike me, you can park on the street, RIGHT OUTSIDE the ground for the grand total of £0).

So being something like 150° in the shade, I thought I'd treat me and junior to a bottle of water, you know, the stuff you can get in Aldi (other supermarkets are available) for about 12p a bottle.... wtf! £2.20 a bottle.... err, no thanks.

Seats taken, blazing sun, game starts.... early lead... nice.... then dominated Barnet for an eternity before Armani Little struck a beaut into the top left (or right, depending on which way you were viewing) corner....goal of the season anyone?

Second half... blazing sun.... the nice people at The Hive opened the top section of the next block so us soft southerners could at least get a bit of shade. United players stayed in the dressing room for the entire second half and it really was wave after wave of Barnet attack.... Barnet grab one back early on to set the collective Deb'n bums a'squeaking and then the inevitable equaliser (we all knew it was coming) came with 90 seconds left on the clock. All in all a fair result.

Good ground. Terrible home support (until they scored their equaliser and then stood in unison and told us how we were 2-0 up and we f*cked it up).

Finally, apologies to the young lad (13ish) who got targeted throughout the game from the 'I think I had two shandies too many' brigade. I'm sure the 30 year old bloke trying to straddle the fence to get at you at full-time just wanted to shake your hand. We really do have some pillocks following us!

I seem to remember you being miles clear of us at this point last season as well ;)

Who cares about the football? The main talking point is the epic Wooderson v Chief Rocka start a match thread battle. This time Chief Rocka strikes a blow. Tense as fuck this.

:bg: Happy to hand the baton back to Rocka (especially given our respective results, I’m a superstitious guy) but if that thread isn’t started by Thursday lunchtime then my God..

As for us, gearing up a bit now, last four have seen us beat Harrogate away, should have beaten Wrexham, pegged back twice at Ebbsfleet and then put 5 past Chorley. Tough on the part-timers though when it’s 30c, two games in three days and we’re bringing on the likes of Wes Thomas, who promptly bagged two. Still questions over some aspects of our game, especially defending set pieces, but we have arguably the best attacking options in the division which should more than balance it out in some games. Solihull a week tonight might give us a better idea of where we’re at right now.

Soft penalty for Hartlepool!

What was the Dover guy sent off for? The challenge or the hissy fit he had?
