The f*** is up with teams calling off scheduled fixtures for FA Cup preperation? F***ing outrageous.

Anyway, Aldershot at home. The form guide says we should win, I will assume otherwise as anything can happen.

A few fascinating fixtures here IMO due to teams form and league positions.

Great, it’s a freezing November midweek match and we’re going to the toughest place to get a result at in world football.

Lose this, knocked out of the Cup Saturday, then 2 defeats against Salford over Christmas and we will be back in the no-pressure bliss of mid-table. It’ll be a damn relief too, success scares us as a football club. Terrifies us it does. We feel uneasy at the mere thought of doing well for a sustained period of time.

At five days notice as well. Absolute clusterfuck of idiocy, all for the remote possibility of a plum away draw at one of the big 6 in the third round.

We’ll fuck it up. 1-2.

The only fascinating things on Tinpot Tuesday will be if that Braintree match actually takes place and whether Chesterfield avoid a draw.

Agreed regarding Braintree, the pitch was poor when we went there in September.

To be honest, its never been good at all.

It’s been a total disgrace for years. It almost makes me glad about Guiseley and WHAT THEY DID to Braintree on that fateful afternoon.

Is there a longer fixture in the top 5 English leagues than:

Dagenham and Redbridge vs Havant and Waterlooville?

0-0 written all over this. It's gonna be freezing, possibly wet, and I'll be wanting to go home five minutes in.

Orient away. We are so poor on the road this season that tonight could be embarrassing, especially with Fowler and Rendell out.
I’m going 5-0 Orient, with Bonne to score more than our entire team will have shots on target.

That would require us to score more than once (ain’t gonna happen) and concede only once (also ain’t gonna happen) 4-0 Orient. Can’t be arsed to go so going to listen to the humiliation on the wireless, that way at least I can switch it off once I lose count, or interest, whichever happens first.

You'll be pleased to know that a storm's set in for the night. Hopefully the ridiculous wind can help us to a 0-0 draw, in a spectacle devoid of any football whatsoever.

We go to Chesterfield having lost 4 in 5 and just 4 points above them after they dipped into the relegation zone.
Get the feeling we’re going to get dragged closer to the trap door this evening and hand Chesterfield a very rare 3pts.
Hope I’m wrong.

It would be their first in 19 matches!

Yep! I can see it happening. We concede so many goals and most of them are easily preventable.
The best period we’ve had so far this season game with the best backline we have. Not rocket science. Why we continue to play “favourites” and ship easy goals I have no idea!

The only guarantee tonight is that chesterfield will equalise
First shot on target 70 mins in, and straight down the keepers throat... I wouldn't bank on an equaliser if I were you

We score 3 for the first time this season, could be many more as Havant are all over the place at the back. 5 wins in 6, did not see that coming. Shows what a couple of better players can do.

We all know about Dodgy Martin Allen but I'm starting to think there's something going on with this run of draws. Drawing 9 matches in a row has surely never happened in the history of English football.
