The big game of the day on the TV featuring 2 big clubs and probably a 6k crowd :bdick:

We've managed to find some form coming into this with 3 wins and a draw, long hard game against Barrow on Tuesday which may leave one or two on the fatigued side.

We've switched formation to 3-5-2, whilst its worked on the attacking front, we've looked ropey as hell at the back, teams targeting us with long balls over the top. Hopefully we're back to 4-4-2.

We've not won on the TV for around 4 and a half years. As long as we don't lose I'll be happy enough.

Watch us both draw and Solihull go top.............but at the same time all but ending Salford's title bid...............

I'll get absolutely no work done tomorrow, as my mind is fully on Saturday now. It'll be a cracking day out and hopefully we can get the job done down there. A loss wouldn't be the end of the world as this is far and away our toughest game on paper left, but I'd snap your hand off for a draw.

It's our biggest league game since 2013.

As long as one of you wins, drawing this match is out of the question, it just opens up the floodgates for the great unwashed below you.

At the other end of the table perhaps the most important game for ages is Maidstone v Havant;-

A Havant win (coupled with an Aldershot loss at Barrow) would effectively mean that Aldershot, Maidstone and Braintree are all already gone and only 1 relegation spot will remain to be decided. But it will also mean that Havant have a reasonable chance to stay up as they can score goals and every team from Bromley down could end up in that last spot with a Woking style end to the season.

If Maidstone win (do they know what a win is?) then any positive result for both Dover and Barnet means the bottom 4 might stay the same as now.

From a Northern point of view anything other than disastrous end of seasons for Halifax, Barrow, Chesterfield or Hartlepool means 4 southern teams are nailed on to go down. which coupled with Leyton Orient going up would mean a much better league for northern fans next season for the 1st time in ages.

p.s - Leyton Orient fans - don't get too confident - I backed you at 10-1 before the season started and i've never got the winner right - so you need a miracle to win it. sorry.

We're making our 7th trip to Gateshead's "International" Stadium.

Our historic form at that stadium is patchy to say the least - WWWWWW

If we maintain that record, we will take a huge stride towards safety.

Barrow away- we HAVE to win or it’s curtains for us, especially with our next 2 being Salford & Orient we could easily get completely cut adrift. Seems like we always lose to Barrow and expecting the same story again tomorrow. 1-0.

I think we'll lose 1-0 but with 2 games at home in the next week we can make amends anyway.

Orient's run-in is HELL anyway. And that's not including getting themselves needlessly involved in a lengthy FA Tinpot run.

Orient V Wrexham draw and a Moors win puts us back top. First ever trip to Salford for us.

We’ve definitely turned the corner recently which is good but we are still only winning away from home, with 2 draws and a win and loss each so far we need to start to put points on the board at home too. I went to Eastleigh and didn’t think they were very good but they’re near the play offs so won’t be an easy game. A win here and reckon we’ve got one foot towards safety ahead of another midweek trip to capital (3 weeks in a row that will be) on tuesday.

Can’t make the game as I’m travelling back the Malaysia and Phillipines but hopefully land at Heathrow Sunday morning to 3 points :D

We could have a good gap at the top by the end of the day or drop down to third. Pressure certainly on today.

August the 17th was the last time we won at home. I won't comment any further.

No alcohol in the away end. Kick Orient out of the brotherhood. Disgraceful club.

Apparently, they don't serve alcohol to more than 600 away fans.

That Orient right back is rasher than Rashford. Got to get Tolitt running at him.

Typical first half from us. When we play the ball on the deck with tempo we rip sides apart, but we only bother to do it three times a half. We don’t compete in midfield because tackling is beneath them and we’re indecisive in defence. Just strolling about expecting to win. Very irritating.

The player who spent the whole first half kicking people too. Typical.
