Ref has been shit here to compound the usual idiocy from our players. Coulthirst given a yellow for pushing a player after being pushed himself - Gateshead player gets no yellow. Ref proceeds to award him nothing all game so he dives and gets sent off. Second half then starts, our player gets fouled by nothing given, then they immediately go and equalise.

We’ve completely imploded and the ref is awful. Put money on us to ship at least two more here. Absolutely certainties to go down this season.

2-1 Gateshead. Inevitable.

Bin the lot of our players off and start fresh in NLS next season.

Ooh, gut punch for Aldershot’s chances of staying up. Hopefully that’ll completely demoralise them for Tuesday, but we have a shocking record at the Rec.

yeah it won't help them much - should give us confidence going to Wrexham though

1st was blatant handball, second I’d have to see it again, James got past him and the defender lunged in, daft to give away really.

We were very poor first half and better in the second when we abandoned a back five.

Can't work out if the teams at the bottom are trying to stay up or not? :dk:

Braintree - no not really trying
Aldershot trying - but lack confidence and quality
Maidstone - actually have to play a lot of bad teams still - but they're probably worse than half of them.
The rest are trying i think

We were very average today and Aldershot weren't any better. A draw probably would have been a fair result.

First penalty looked 50/50 from where I was stood, second I can't comment as I couldn't see what happened through the crowd of players.

Aldershot just don't look like they are going to score enough to claw back 7 points out of the remaining games.

Nice one Orient. Well done. Not only did you lot beat a decent side, you did it without the one and only Josh Coulson

A poor result, but with the league being so crazy I wouldn't surprised to Orient slip up against Aldershot.

Absolute nothing game but my god, Bromley were terrible.

A case of what might have been this season really. After 16 games, we only had 9 points. Following our American owners investing, we actually got a squad together that was good enough and 21 games later and we sit on 47 points. 38 points from 21 games is Play Off form. We should hopefully be in or around it next season.

We needed to win, so played for a point and lost, which sums up our season.

Referee was good for 65 minutes then seemed to lose the plot and give Barrow foul after foul. Lets just say both penalties were extremely controversial.

2nd was a clear handball - even without VAR

Still waiting for Bromley to turn up today, they arrived in cars separately and it looked like they had just met. Balanta is back and wow this guy is a different level to anything on the pitch.

If we keep Wilkinson and Balanta for next season we will be up there for sure, still makes me nervous with Taylor at the helm.

Havant Away Tuesday and we need to go there looking to win or it will be ones step forwards two steps back.

Ball to hand surely? It was flying around the box and deflected onto the arm. Our player didnt even seem to know where the ball was so no idea how that can be considered deliberate handball.

Oh we love him too, what a man. Massive player for us on and off the pitch. Amazed Shaun Derry let him go because he'd do a job in League Two as well.

We are such a better side when he plays, he's just come back from a 6 week injury so 4 games in a week was always going to be a bit much for him.

Agreed. Game was on till Tin Pot Ebbsfleet arrived with only 12 fit men and talked the ref into calling it off. :ds:
Ebbsfleet's secretary seems to be saying different

''We needed that game called off like a hole in the head, the posts on their forum are misplaced, the events of the day went like this if anyone wants to reply to the Halifax Forum:

Had an email from the ref this morning saying Halifax had been in touch and pitch was in good condition, this surprised me as it lashing it down in Leeds where we stayed overnight, upon arrival at the ground at 1-00pm I was told the referee wanted to see me, he told me he had looked at the pitch and in his opinion it was unplayable but he would give Halifax until 1-45pm to work on the pitch, anyone who saw the pitch and the efforts to clear the surface water was futile, the ref went back out to inspect the pitch with a ball, he was throwing a ball around with very little roll or bounce, at that point the ref called Garry and myself over plus the Halifax manager and Secretary informing there were still areas of the pitch that were dangerous and player’s safety was paramount, he also said there was an 80% chance of more rain so he was calling the game off, the Halifax manager made some comment which if I heard correctly he was out of order and I hope the referee reports his comment, the game being called off has done us no good at all, we now have to return on a Tuesday at extra cost, we feel for the fans that travelled costing them money, it now means Bush and Rance are not clear to play on Tuesday and Juke Box hasn’t even started his 2 match suspension, today would have been our 37th league game so cautions would have had to go to 15 after today, we are very disappointed the game was called off but the referee made the right decision without the slightest influence from Ebbsfleet, I know this as I was there, having seen that pitch I can’t see anyway it was anywhere near playable in the last 24 hours.''
