Barham to make it 4 in 4.

Shame Tarpey couldn't be fit for this game. Sadly he had another operation on his knee this week so it will still be a while before he plays again for us.

your fans opinion of Harrison seams to be improving a bit? he's trying harder now - or was it just the team taking a while to gell?

Another test against another improved side in Halifax. First time Nathan Clarke will play against us since he left us back in the summer of 2015, probably his last ever decent season at league level. He was superb for us back in2013/14 and was named our POTY by the majority of our fans.

We'll very likely name the same side for the 5th game in a row, unless some picked up a knock from Solihulls nasty tactics on Tuesday night. James Alabi is back from his ban and Sam Ling is also back from injury.

Looking forward to hopefully getting to Halifax by local trains, even with the strike on. Train back to Leeds at 17.13 - praying it won't be rammed!

The way we've been playing, he'll be lucky to even make the bench! Matt Harrold has been coming off the bench and playing quite well - He's even scored twice FFS, one a very good header against Dover.

Change of system.

He was upfront by himself for the first five games. He looked isolated and was awful.

He started upfront with Barham at chesterfield and he's been improving since. Won't score loads but will definitely help create chances.

All that money spent and Salford can't even supply the basic facilities Ryman League clubs would give you.

The toilets in the away section are also a disgrace, they also didn't even open their bar up when we went there.......

Tidy enough ground once you're in there, but the Class of Nerdy Two still have alot of work to do on Moor Lane's exterior to bring it properly up to speed.

Away at Aldershot. Away form is poor. Aldershot are poor. Good chance to get a first away win on the board but it depends on which Bromley shows up.
Complete guess as to which formation we’ll play, how long before we change formation in game and then start moving players all over the place. Also flip a coin to whether we’ll hit it long repeatedly or pass it about.

There’s no way Alabi comes in for Koroma, nor does he take Harrold’s place on the bench. Lumeka is pretty safe I imagine. We aren’t going to ditch Happe (defender) or the centre mid (Gorman or Lawless if he’s still away), so yeah.

It’s off to Scotland for the mighty Sutton. Probably the most excited and intrigued I’ve been for an away game
If this becomes a regular thing will southern teams stop moaning about how far away Barrow, Gateshead and Hartlepool etc are away from the M25?

I’m looking forward to the time when a team like Dover, Maidstone or Ebbsfleet get entered into this competition and get drawn to play Brora away!

Smugly confident we can take the Orieo's down. Come on Orient, wipe this smug, self-satisfied smirk off my great big fat ugly face, I dare ya. :ds::woot:

Really tough game at Solihull for us, driving down there now, staying at a mate's in the area. Note to self - don't get too shitfaced tonight and miss the fucking match.

Gonna have to guts it out if we want the three points. Won there last season but they're stronger this term by all accounts and have a pitch the size of a prison cell so we'll do well to get the win. One thing for sure is this Pools side has miles more character than last season so if we match their work ethic, hopefully we'll have enough firepower to nick it.

we played them before playing you - and you were the better side of the 2 - they are a team of brutes - but only beat us 2-1 because we missed a 93rd min penalty and hit the woodwork 3 times. Adi Yussef is the main danger - keep him quiet and you should get at least a point

Aldershot are indeed poor,a little better at home. If you pass it about, Shots will have a good chance. We are pretty easy to knock off the ball, so not too keen on any heavy stuff. However, it's about time our "forwards " started to earn their money, and tomorrow could be the day. Not holding my breath though.....

Beat you last year at the Shay, but I think it'll be honours even this time around.

Absolutely no chance you'll beat us at home though.

Everyone seems to have forgotten the big one at 5.15pm - When Gateshead after an eternity of being screwed by the all the people in world who put things on TV, WILL ACTUALLY be on TV.
