Dermot Drummy and Matt Gray have left Crawley "by mutual consent".

One win from the last thirteen games (and that was against Leyton Orient; who should have scored a couple before we got going). Any semblance of a style of play out of the window and lack of tactics may be pointed out as the reason but Ziya Erin (owner) stated that he gave a good budget and then increased it when asked and he was not happy about the results since.

Drummy is the sixth manager we have had as a football league club! Far too many and because of that I would have let Drummy continue but given him a kick up the backside and by gawd did he, and his players, need a kick.

We don't have a budget to attract any big names so I'm sure we will be asking questions about the new boss as soon as he is announced.

As long as it's not Steve Davies.

There seems to be a shout out for Dannie Bulman to be a player manager on the CTFC. Net forum. He has just left Wimbledon and is an absolute legend at Crawley. He played a fair few games in League One this season so although he is 39 he should still be able to put a shift in on the pitch. No idea off it though.

Who will talkSPORT use when they need to chat to someone for thirty seconds about the lower leagues now? (Quickly skipping by, revealing a scarce knowledge of anything other than the top 6 of the Prem....and West Ham).

Crawley need something to change, they were the worst team I saw at Meadow Lane this season.
They had nothing, no pace, no grit, danger man, style. The game just sort of passed them by and you must be glad that the season isn't fifty games long or you'd be right in it.

And that was the complaint of nearly all the fans. The games just seemed to pass the players by AND the manager seemed to be fine with that.

Press conference going on now. Owner stated we haven't spoken to anybody yet.

Press conference this afternoon now available on YouTube. Turkish language skills required to decipher the English translation!

Seems we are going for someone with a history with the club and local(ish).

Is Craig Brewster happy at Plymouth?

You do know he was our manager when we got promoted to League One?

Letting him go was a bad decision. That we got Sean O'Driscoll in as a manager for two weeks before he buggered off to Nottingham Forest is not an excuse.

No manager announced but the club released a statement saying, well, bugger all really.

There is a rumour that Steve King is going to be announced. I'm quite ready to announce he is a complete loser!

That jumped-up wideboy and wannabe style icon getting a manager's job in the Football League would be hilarious and depressing in equal measures.

Macc fans love him I think. Isn't that right, The_Boss...

He seems to leave Club's in a financial mess wherever he goes.

Rumours of Steve King have gone quiet (thankfully) but the latest is Harry Kewell! As far as I'm aware he has had one bad stint as an under 23 manager at Watford to his managerial career and numerous business interests that keep him busy across the world. Warren Feeney as his number two....Well he is shit.

I always say we should go for an up and coming manager, maybe a coach who wants his first step s into management but this doesn't sound great.

Kewell will get a less than warm reception at Huish Park next season. Hated by Yeovil fans.

Just heard this. Was great player but not followed his managerial exploits. Last i heard he had been in australia. Seen few big name players fail as managers, teddy sheringham for starters.

Is there an emoji for hands up I have no clue?

This is so left field I'm expecting Neil Barnes to be named as a coach.

I have no choice but to hope this works and maybe, just maybe, it will be a success!

If you believe that I have a lovely timeshare in Spain...

Couldn't get anyone that doesn't fit those 2 categories wider of the mark than Harry Kewell!

Might get Hayden Mullins or Lee Bowyer!

If his attitude on the touchline is anything to go by Kewell will be spending most of the time rowing with the officials and probably getting into trouble..
