What do you expect? We haven't seen a promotion since 2003 and were utter garbage today.

Is it right that Fylde didn't announce its attendance yesterday?

That seems incredibly low for us. There were definitely more than 59 behind the goal second half. Having the M20 blocked obviously didn't help matters. I live in Kent, and it still took me 2 hours to get to Crabble so I'm guessing some either turned round and went home or didn't even contemplate one of the awkwardest (is that a word?) journeys for those living in the 'Bay...[/QUOTE

I spoke to someone who was there yesterday and he had done a head count and 118 were there. Some late arrivals kept coming in so 150 seems about right

I see 1100 odd on twitter. Woking reckon about 100 from them

Saw a video of Woking's penalty and it looked like there was no more than 300 there! Though I realise it was late on in a heavy defeat.

Still, strange that no figure was published - does that happen at this level?

Most of their gates are corporates or season ticket holders who may not turn up
No surprise though given the novelty factor wearing off for local corporates and Blackpool sorting themselves out that Fyldes gates are getting lower and lower, in spite of their team getting closer and closer to the football league
They'd declare 1500 almost every week in the conference North first season in that ground when it looked less and now they've had two games with barely 1000 and their crowd v chorley was much reduced on previous games

The 1200 they took to Wembley for a promotion final must have been band wagonners, huh? :bdick:

Any time I've been there, I noticed how many were big groups of school kids - clearly invited to swell the numbers. Don't know if they still do it, but the BAE workers at Wharton used to get free tickets. Everyone else seems to be Blackpool fans (no coincidence they were at home this Saturday), or real elderly people for some reason.
They had more for their Brexit rally this summer...

Nice touch at the end there I thought

GM… Finally Dan, I’m sure you’ll bounce back like always, as it’s not nice seeing you so deflated but have you got a message for our old and new fans, as a lot of them are equally unhappy with our support and the Wood Army all share your frustration.
DH… No I don’t have any message, there’s nothing left for me to say anymore that they haven’t already heard.

GM… Thank you Chairman.

130 Sutton fans at Boreham Wood (if not obvious from reading the above article)

Swear the first 2 times they rocked up at Boston with 17 and 20 it was just a Saga holiday stopping off en route to Skegness...
Most definitely smells of Rushden and diamonds there...

Nothing for;
Maidenhead v Chorley
Solihull v Ebbsfleet

Woking twitter said '80 to 100'. I'm sure that they wouldn't have overestimated in any way.

Quite eye opening. And if he has done all he says he can then you can't really blame him for questioning his future

280 home fans is bonkers. I wonder how far you could go down the pyramid to find a home gate bigger than that?
