Another clash near the bottom of the league as 16th place Northampton play 22nd place Swindon and both need the points to fire away from any possible relegation fears. Swindon lost 1-0 at the weekend while Northampton beat Chesterfield.

Two home wins out of two and against those in the bottom 4 have given us the lift we so desperately needed. We also scored 3 in both games. Chesterfield had a lot more of the ball but lacked any sort of cutting edge. Despite our lowly position I believe we are the 5th top scorers in the league and that alone should be enough to keep us out of the drop zone.

I have no idea whats going on with Swindon as they seem to be on a nightmare run, fancy us to bully them a bit, they will have more of the ball, we will be clinical, 2-0 Teyn.

Think we score too many goals to be in trouble, but a win would really ease concerns

I'll be amazed if our useless bandits get anything out of this game. 3-0 Cobblers

Waiting for a believed late winner from us with JED running onto the pitch and sliding on his knees celebrating in front of the North stand. Swindon then shockingly equalise after they bring on Di Canio and he runs into the away end never to be seen again.

Can't we just send you 3 points and save the petrol money...

Ex was from Northampton. Many a night spent in Moon On The Square and NB's.

I really want to belive that we could get something from this ! I just cannot give up on my team, but then reality kicks in, and i realise that im supporting the worse team in Swindons history since the early 80s...............we are doomed!

Oh for those days again, the drive, effort, passion and desire of that side is all that our current bunch lack in spades. Enjoy your 3 points Cobblers.

It's quite chilly out tonight so if we could get some sort of formal agreement drawn up about you giving us the points that would be great.

You could just leave the cones out - they'd win.

Is that why she is an ex? That you had to endure those places. I'm sorry man.

That really should have been 7 or 8-1, far too close. Richards penalty miss, his two missed one on ones, Smith putting it wide, Anderson off the inside of the post, Boateng missing the follow up. That was not a 2-1 game, and better teams will punish us.

Quick word for Swindon, they didn't look up to much really, lots of nice football as usual but little to no cutting edge. Brophy looks a player.

Cant see Swindon getting out of the relegation zone. They continued to try and play total football despite it clearly not working.

It seems obvious they need some physicality and experience to help them scrap and they dont seem to have it. The ease with which we were able to get at their defence was startling. As mentioned above it really should have been 5-1 or so.

Guess we're due another dip into League 2.

Going to be a long summer with no sport to keep me entertained and the prospect of playing the Crawley Town's of this world again does not enthrall me.

Can easily see us slipping down to non league unless Power rips it up and starts again. Good times.

Ever thought of applying for our manager's job? Clarity of thought, or, stating the bleeding obvious, is impressive.

That's now and Oxford fan and a Cobblers fan who can clearly see what we have been seeing for months now and yet nothing has changed on the pitch.

We fully deserve to go down for pure pig headed stupidity on the chairman's part to not have changed this and got a proper manager in when it was needed. It's too late and LW as great a coach as he may be, just does not have the tools to manage this team, they are unfit, mentally frail and he his tactical nous is embryonic. That's it for us I reckon, stick a fork in it, we're done.

It'll be easy money as you don't have to be successful in anyway. Just don't let your parents sit in the Arkells Stand.
