Atmosphere in the ground was non existent can't ever recall the ground being so utterly silent. And that's saying something because it's usually a morgue.

Harsh on Jones considering he gets no protection from Allesandra

Dan Jones is a good player, just will probably get injured at some point during the season.

Jones had a nightmare at Coventry last week but he was okay today, worth sticking with.

Yea he has shockers but he tends to go as the team goes.

Okay, here we go.

Two bang ordinary outfits unable to string more than a couple or three passes together and all too often going long.

New season but same old problem of Caldwell pursuing his preferred formation regardless of sense or circumstance.

Two games in yet the club that returned to training before anyone else is already fielding the proverbial squares in round one's.

Notts had the better of the few chances on offer but we could've capitalised on the blocks Hird made.

Totally unforgettable first half until a laughably biased 'homer' sent off Wiseman for, well, nowt (yeah, I get that our big lad got away with a couple of questionable challenges beforehand - but balance that with County players hurling themselves floor-wards in pursuit of, and being awarded non-fouls).

Second half the ten had arguably the brighter start until our resident dwarf 'keeper once again punched when he could've caught before allowing an innocuous header over his invariably goal-line based grasp.

All of a sudden it was last season all over again.

Dunno if Notts sat back, are genuinely pants or we found some sort of bollocks, but the last twenty or so minutes had us chasing an equaliser.

Until a meaningless 'take-one-for-the-team' trip (was it really worth a booking when defeat was inevitable?) allowed the Notts lad a Leigh Griffiths v England free kick.

Remarkable strike or shite 'keeping?

Either way my first glimpse of Town this season left me totally underwhelmed.

Caldwell's useless, but paying off him and his staff - which'll inevitably happen in the next couple of months - will be yet another addition to the debt owed to an owner apparently indifferent to the failings of the bloke he's appointed to run his club.

It's almost as if he wants CFC to go tits-up...

It wasn't pretty at all. Caldwell has to go for me. 2 wins in 22 games and no sign of turning that around
