Dirk, ffs.....It's Friday, I have had wine, I am confused enough....please, no more mate.....Are you Johnny? I thought you are me? Now it's going to be complicated because if you are me and you are also Johnny that would mean I am Johnny, too.
Aah, the infamous Bay City Rollers gig
and they still dress like plonkers.....Aah, the infamous Bay City Rollers gig
This pic was made in 1970, what a sight that stand must of been when it was being built the first triple stand in UK football
I will later if i can, i have loads of pics regarding Archiblad Leitch, well pics of Goodison anyway.I'm a big fan of the british football stadiums. I don't know if I'd mentioned it before (if not then it was at 1FF.net). In the 80's at one of my first visits to my cousin (who is married to a british soldier who was stationed in Germany and later went with him to Wolverhampton (hence my love for the Wolves) I bought a book at a bookstore from Simon Inglis: The Football Grounds of Great Britain . For me the "bible" for stadium fans. I loved (and still love) this book. So many good old stadium photos (and many text). I'm especially interested in the stadium design by Archibald Leitch
btw: This book contains a fine arial view in s/w of Goodison Park. I really like how they built the stadiums near the blocks of flats at that time. Short ways to the ground. Today they are building more and more outside of town (aka arse of the world).
johnnytodd : Do you have the pic in bigger size. You could upload it to an imagehoster (like directupload.net or similar) and you get a link for forums and can copy and paste it here.
