20th place Oldham are just 1 point above the relegation zone and need more points quickly to help them avoid relegation to the bottom league. Charlton are middle of the table and are 6 points away from a playoff push.

I'm no longer as concerned as I was at the start of the year. We are by no means looking good but we seem to be able to adapt to each game as it comes. If Sheridans record continues since his return we are due to lose this one.

Only question mark for us really is holloway who limped off after 20 mins on Sat so it's who replaces him up front. We don't have 1 out and out striker really so it really is anyone's guess how shez lines us up.

I'll go for a narrow 1 nil victory but I would I'm forever the optimist

I would take a draw here personally.

Hope Holloway is fit but it didn't look good.

Riley
Wilson - Clarke - Gerrard - Hunt
Fane - Green
McLaughlin - O'Neill - Taylor
Osei

Latics 1-1 Charlton. I can't see us winning if I'm honest.

We'll go 1-0 up and concede a stoppage time equaliser, that seems to be the script at the moment.

I've no idea what's happened, after the game at Bolton I thought that would improve us mentally but the complete opposite has happened. Just hope the players aren't too downhearted after letting it happen twice and that Robinson is still pumping it in to them that the play-offs are still a possibility.

It certainly seems both us and Bradford are the draw specialists of this league so will probably be the same again.

2-2.

Not convinced by our starting 11 at all, fantastic options on the bench though.

You missed a sitter in the first 30 seconds and we made you pay with a sublime finish from banks. You look sharp though and it looks more when than if you score.

2 good teams playing decent football on a shite pitch. For us banks and erwin are having the best games they have had in a blue shirt but we look vulnerable at the back. Ripley again making a top notch save.

Same old story, waste chances and concede.

And there lies the reason why we have not troubled the play-offs. Utterly pathetic and on a day where Robinson said we need to be more ruthless.

Oh, and yet another absolutely disasterous refereeing decision goes against us. Becoming a very regular, frustrating theme.

Time must be running out for Robinson now with our owner's record. Getting to the stage where I don't think I'd care, pretty fed up of all the fluff that leaves his mouth whilst he is being shown up to be a fraud, Mk Dons have improved since he's left and it could be argued that we've somehow got worse since he joined us. Still, he's got his excuse tonight with that penalty decision.

Well deserved win. Surprised you couldn't get past us but reply made 3 cracking saves tbf. We still look nothing like a decent side but that's the best performance under shez since his return. It's moving in the right direction.

Charlton are a good side. One of the best bargains Bradford I've seen at our place. Your no.15 however had no idea how to handle erwin then ngoo when he came on. Ref clueless for both sides as well.

Tbf you weren't beaten by a penalty decision. He was as bad for both teams. Taylor was assaulted in the middle of the park when running thru and he played advantage to you?

Look at your no. 9s inability to put away a sitter in the first minute if your looking for reasons why you lost

I'm not blaming the penalty decision, I'm saying Robinson will be blaming that rather than himself.

I'm blaming that poor starting 11 which is down to KR and also our inability to make 16 shots and 16 corners count.

You did look dangerous though and on another day 4 of them would have gone in. Ripley made 3 cracking saves remember. And the corners were dangerous. I'd start worrying when you don't create.

In fairness, Clarke hit the post, Taylor hit the post, O'Neill missed a sitter and Ngoo missed a one on one, so despite looking at the shot count, I'd say based on chances we deserved to win.

Charlton looked a neat and tidy side up until the final third. I like that lad on your LW - Mavididi or something - is he on loan from Arsenal?

Thought that Magennis was dire though.

He is, doesn't sound too promising from what I've heard during comms.

You're right in some respects but we are just so toothless in front of goal and have been for some months now.

Yeah Mavididi is on loan from Arsenal.

In fairness to Magennis, that's his first start in over 4 weeks since only just returning from an ankle injury and has been one of our better players all season.

Still all irrelevant for us now after tonight. Can't go up and won't go down, season over.
