Would anyone be interested in setting one up or participating? I think it would be an interesting take on fans views, given that we're all clearly professionals. :2thumb:

But seriously, does anyone think that something like this could work?

I do podcasts mate, I would be interested depending on what its about.

I do think it would be good for the site, adds credibility and something else for the members to look forward to.

I don't hear Podcasts or Audio dramas or similar. Makes me sleepy immediately. I would try it if johnny speaks, just to hear his high pitched voice when he gets exhausted during his rants about Liverpool ;) (although I fear I wouldn't understand a word he says. He surely has an accent, hasn't he? I only understand Oxford English :D )

Haha I know this was meant as a joke, but its not a bad idea actually. Recording pieces with certain members on what they know on and putting them together at the end. Harder than just getting all together on a skype call but it should work well.

I'd be up for any South American or Italian Serie A discussion.

Can't talk about Affairs, I am happily married. And no one here understands German and I don't dare to speak in English (too much zzzzis and zzzzat would it be :D )

Does Salty really stray from his dedication to Scotch or am I a dunce and you're allowed to spell the Scottish Water of Life both ways?

Whisky and whiskey are different in terms of where they are produced and the way they are made. I only (just now, I'm not a snob) drink whisky (Scotch).
I think I'm the dunce here - I should have said whisky.
Yes you should, go and stand in the corner young man! :D

IMHO should only be about Premier league teams.
Piss off. Posts in the main league sections of this forum

Premier League 57,528
Championship 69,206
League One 83,281
League Two 68,271
Non League 80,562

League one (yay) has the most posts and the Prem's percentage of posts is about 16%.

You have to multiply it by quality of posts.

Stevencc posts > lower league posts

I'm open to idea's. We could have a team of 3/4 people on, with backgrounds supporting teams across the board. To make it feel like a O.F.F Podcast we could discuss the top 10 talked about moments of the week/month on here. That way it makes it relevant to the people listening.

I'm open to ideas on how we should do it!

It'd be good if it wasn't too rigid imo. We've got a broad range of people here with a vast array of interests. It would be good to have a revolving number of contributors to reflect the board and actual goings on in the real world. I wouldn't turn it into a discuss the board podcast as that wouldn't appeal to outside listeners which defeats the object. For example last week would've been a Superbowl episode and we've enough knowledgeable peeps to have made that a decent listen for an outsider who may then opt to join the forum as real recognises real. The key would be to cover a broad range of subjects relevant to that week and getting members to commit to doing it. Will take a lot of organising but it's got the potential to be good.

Good point. I dont minds working with 1 person to organise and then each podcast we do, we have a different 2 guests to discuss that weeks topics?

Keep everything fluid. Even the number of guests. A Superbowl episode coulda been like a round table discussion. A Copa Libertadores episode would need one guest, at most. Etc.

I'd like to hear JohnnyTodd and Silkyman "debate" a topic like the moon landings or the existence of Atlantis.

I agree,

It could be a good experiment. I suppose we wont know what does/doesn't work until the time.
