We really can't afford to lose this game. For me it's a must win as the rest of our games are really tough. Think we need a minimum 6 points to ensure safety. We have stopped conceding but stopped scoring. Vaughan a serious doubt tonight. Hope if he's not fit he starts Miller with Pope. Though he has alternated Pope with Lowe lately. I hope he doesn't as Lowe at the end of his time. Predicting a bore nil nil or if Vaughan plays we might sneak a 1 nil away win.

You have to be truly fucking dour to draw with Oxelona - only Northampton have managed to be that boring in living memory, and we did all we could to help them to the usual one goal win.

Bury sound like they'll probably be quite bad - even though we have given up on the season I expect a 3-0 victory.

Tough one to call with Oxford hopefully having one eye cast on Wembley. I don't buy this "I'd be amazed if oxford score two" attitude because every game is different, we are facing different players etc.. also sets us up for a fall if Oxford score 3.

Vaughan is a doubt although he was only taken off as a precaution Saturday so who knows... I'll go Oxford 3-1 Bury.

That was lovely. Bury's defence and keeper were bloody awful. We should have scored far more with Robbie Hall missing a sitter (he did get a lovely assist though) being the stand out miss.

Ryan Lowe is a dirty c**t and should have been red carded. He obviously took a dislike to Marvin Johnson running past your defence at will!

Edit: McAleny obviously doesn't like to just score only a single goal in a game as that was his 2nd hat-trick for us.

Cheers, Oxford.

Keeps the safety flame flickering that little bit longer. Our saving grace will be other teams being unbelievably shitter than we are for us to pull off the great escape. I can't see us finishing outside of the bottom four purely by winning games through being a better team. We will have to have an almighty fuck ton of luck, a dodgy penalty, red card or refereeing blunder or two to see us scratch and claw our way over the line. Everybody sees our games in hand as our 'Get Out Of Jail Free Card', but I don't, as both games in hand on the teams above are away games and we horrific away from Vale Park.

Praying a couple of the sides we face are facing circumstances that fall in our favour. Hoping Chesterfield have completely given up a week on Saturday as that's our only realistic chance of winning an away game this season now, and our record there is awful, typically. Hoping that Walsall are already on the beach when we visit for our penultimate game of the season (Tues 25th April). Also, we could do with Sheffield United and Bolton both already been either promoted and the title decided when they both visit us in consecutive home fixtures. Scary thinking how bad those two could put us to the sword if they came to Burslem needing something to seal their promotion and/or title. Frightening!

I can't honestly fucking take another spell in League Two. I really can't. We HAVE to stay up. It's that simple
