Genuinely devastated to finish work today and see the news that our former skipper and assistant manager passed away last night, after suffering a suspected heart attack, aged just 45. Many on here would have seen their team come up against him, and he was very well respected in his time in the league with Brighton, Oxford and Wycombe.
Definitely one of the best centre backs in my 11/12 years following the Fleet, and one of our greatest heroes. Captained the side to the FA Trophy win in 2008 and spent almost 10 years here. True gent both on and off the pitch. Gutted.
R.I.P Macca.
