I don't think we've ever had this little problem during pre season before. Usually it's only around early October that we start hearing talk of must win games on our forum

Couple of players in those young 'uns that I'm hoping will be very much in and around the first team next season though. Pollock and Wright for sure, maybe Buckley and Curran too.

Hallam Hope will serve a one-game friendly suspension, so he'll miss our game with Fleetwood tomorrow but be back for the other friendlies and crucuially our season opener (if he's still a Carlisle player by then).

Still not sure what actually happened, seems lenient if, as Chester argued, he turned to face and then swung a fist at their player; but we haven't commented on the details of the incident and Radio Cumbria described it as a raised arm when challenging for a ball which was interpreted as a deliberate elbow... which seems to be quite different from what Chester claim and probably more proportionate to the punishment.
