Next six are hugh tests against sides I'd expect to be fighting for the top six so 10 points from that would be decent, 21 points from 13 would set a target of about 75 points.

I think you're defence will put pay to your top 6 hopes. Decent start though considering you've still got a few injured. Think you may as well forget about a couple of them they're injured that much.

Hooper likely to play against your u23s and will be available for Leeds if he comes through unscathed, Lee still not looking great and may have to retire sadly.

I thats a shame, must be so frustrating for him, Hutchinson seems injured all the time too. You've 100% got a midfield/attack top 6 standard on paper, find it odd why you aren't playing one of the best keepers in the league too.

Hutchinson has had a small stint recuperating in Spain and is back training so not missing for too long.

Agreed re Westy, his experience is sorely missed.

We didn’t have to get out of first gear last night. Stroll in the park, so I’m not getting overly excited about beating Rotherham 2.0. No disrespect, but with the players we have, and the money we’ve spent, we should be beating them easily, which we did. Abraham is a beast of a player in this league. Next few games I predict...

Sheff Weds, Draw
Bristol City, Win
Preston, Draw
Millwall, Lose

Back in for a few days.

Doing a very good job imo you're manager, not a penny to spend, still got a good few 1st team players missing and managed to bring youth players in which is something you pretty much have never done in 20 years, you could easily lose 3 of your next 4 with the fixtures and no doubt all the idiots will want him out, well I think they do already tbh.

Not sure how long we'll be relevent in this thread as we've only really beaten bad teams but it's our turn to drop by now.

We’re just about holding on in here but probably will be leaving for a bit soon.

I think we’d be alright. He’s a good manager for sure, but has plenty of faults. The way we play is ingrained in the club, we aren’t ones for changing tactics frequently, we line up the same way most of the time.

We’d miss him, and I don’t want him to go, but I’m sure we’d find a way to come out of it ok.

You were decent last night, best team to come to PP since Leeds. Got to admit I didn't have a clue who half your team were but they were well drilled and played some good stuff.

I have no idea how we are only 4 off play offs. Brentford have been getting plaudits, and rightly so, but we could be just 1 point behind them soon and we have had our worst ever losing streak at the start of a season, as well as our biggest loss in our history. Crazy league.

Can't believe we're sitting in 12th place and just a point off play offs, it's crazy.

What I've seen so far Leeds have been stand out team, weren't that impressed with WBA last night, they looked a bit indecisive throughout game at back, similar to Stoke really.

We've got Boro in a couple of weeks so I'll see how good they are.

A similar thing happened last season. We got smashed by Millwall, it forced Farke to make changes then we started flying. Injuries and a lack of anyone who could score bar Maddison meant we drifted away last season and we may do again this year but we definitely have more options this year and more depth at most positions.

We seem to have tried to sign players who were highly rated at one stage of their career and have lost their way a little. Leitner, Stiepermann, Vrancic and Buendia are good examples of this. Also have three players from the academy playing regularly now in Lewis (who came through in the middle of last season), Cantwell (who was on loan in Holland last year) and Aarons (who has emerged this year). Webber and Farke were brought in with a goal of creating a team whilst also slashing the wage budget and not spending big on transfer fees. They've done ok so far.

Ridiculously tight league and probably will be all season - 7 points separate the top 15 teams. Swansea have been the best team we've played so far, with Middlesbrough being the stand out in terms of defence (usually the team who concede the least goals, go up).

Sheffield United look decent and West Brom will surely score the most goals and will be tough to beat.

There are at least 10/12 teams who would look at the table as it is today, and fancy being in the mix come May.

Bruce is foaming at the mouth for this to happen. Most fans are purely because it will paper over a huge crack. The owners are not going to give the go ahead by the looks of it. We’ve also lost a good keeper and replaced him with two clowns.

Why did Terry leave in the first place ?

we've certainly played the most attractive style of football to date, I suspect we will turn up one day and give someone a real pasting at home, however get back to me in April for promotion predictions because I know us too well
