Anyone else getting the feeling that the Tranmere fans are slightly rattled by Lincoln?
I wouldn't say all Tranmere fans but certainly 1884 Belmont never seems to stop.

They're the team to beat to the title, of course we're going to have a bit of banter! We're the chasing team, it's Lincoln who have to worry about being rattled.

COME ON YOU SHOTS!!! :sb:

I apologise if I've gone too far, but I'm not trying to be confrontational. As Pablosammy said, it's just a bit of banter but if it's getting in other posters' way of enjoying the forum, I won't do it any more. It doesn't make what I've said any less true though.

Utterly boring, non-event night of posting on this thread yesterday I see.

The pressure is on Tranmere to win every game to chase us down, we are in the driving seat. To suggest otherwise is ludicrous.

I think we'd appreciate it if we beat them too..

They'll probably raise their game after we thrashed them last week, but an early goal and their heads will drop again.

Just a warning for those of you going for promotion, if you think that promotion to the Football League means no more horrendous refereeing decisions by abysmal referees, think again.

Indeed as the clowns down here get promoted to ref in the league!
Look at the idiot we had for our cup game at Burnley!

The referees just get worse and worse in this league.

We had David Rock this weekend who we seem to have all the time. I can only assume he hates football which is why he goes out of his way to blow his whistle any time any attack flows. Feels the need to tell players off for routine tackles, waves away protests with a smug look on his face then books players for getting frustrated with him.

He's produced 8 red cards this season (albeit 3 in one game last week) which really doesn't surprise me. Nothing worse than a referee intent on becoming the centre of attention every week.

The idiot we had on Saturday was making ridiculous decisions all game (against both teams I might add) but then with the Gavin Gunning situation I don't think he should ever be allowed to ref another game in his life, bad decisions are one thing but when a players safety is put at risk then he needs to be held accountable for it IMO.

Since we're playing Forest Green, Lincoln, and Tranmere in our last 3 games, I guess we get to decide who wins the league. Good job were in a run of form now cuz we might not get anything out of those!

I was thinking for your sake you're going to want to be all but safe before those last 3.

Is that cos you pissed on us that day?

We've since pissed away our "nailed on" play-off place too. Perhaps if we had been beaten by Tranmere, all would still be well - the focus on the Rochdale FA Cup game and the poor showing that day seems to have been the turning point of our season.

11 points from 12 games isn't it and yet you're still within touching distance of play offs. We should be clear into 4th or 5th, gutted by how we've bottled it whenever we get a chance to pull away

Saw that, the lad looked out cold in your penalty area.
Some clearly have no clue as every fan knows you stop the game for head injury.

Yep and the ref was looking straight at him, this clip was 5 or 6 seconds after he was knocked out cold so how he thought it ok to continue playing beggars belief:

Something like that. Our form just took a nosedive with the injury to Byron Harrison, the disappointment of the Rochdale game, and maybe even a bit of the players being unsettled in the January window as they looked for moves. It's all resulted in us looking disjointed and a bit dishevelled.
