Do you even have to ask? It'd obviously be everybody's favourite FA quarter finalists, FA trophy semi finalists and giant killers, Lincoln City! Any excuse to get the lovable rogue Matt Rhead back on the telly!

So, earlier in the season, Lincoln burst Forest Green's league winners bubble with that late comeback win. It saw Lincoln eventually move to the top whilst FGR have been scratching around in 2nd-4th since (take the fact they're 3 games ahead in 1st place currently out of it)

I wonder if the reverse will happen this weekend and completely swing the momentum back the other way.

We will win the next 7 games. Taking us clear top. Then lose the last 3.

The Tranmere way.

Are they the fair weather ones who have suddenly become fans this season?
Unfortunately (as FGR supporter) I disagree.
Nope the ones who always appear when we lose a game or two. Sad lot.
We were bound to have a wobble at some point just a case of how quickly we stop it and get winning again.
As Luke has mentioned we need a regular goalscorer something we've lacked all season but still scored 90 odd goals.

We actually bettered that in 94-95. Lost the last five to miss out on promotion to the Premier League.

I thought the Tranmere way was to get reffed out of it?

In this world nothing is certain except death, taxes, Tranmere never getting promoted, Tranmere bottling it and Tranmere getting reffed out of it. It's a conspiracy!

Who's won the "nothing to play for" league? (eg the first team to confirm their place in this division for next season)

Remember the game like it was yesterday. Early kick off, watched it hoping for a Lincoln win to prevent Forest Green going 12 clear. Celebrated like a Tranmere goal when Raggett powered that header in.

We then went to Braintree and won. Hoping for a repeat this weekend, with Forest Green winning this time of course.

Its still Lincolns to lose.

Where was this?! Sounds like the sort of drivel you get on the Lincoln City Banter Facebook page.

Remember that bloody eric ' if its a big match i mess up' nixon somehow booted the ball against brett angell who was a good 15 yards away from him.... downhill all the way from there, easy run in too but that defeat at home shattered our confidence

Interesting comparing the managers, playing style and personality wise I'd say Coops is the Pep Guardiola of the National League, Cowley is like Sean Dyche and Mellon is a bit like Mauricio Pochettino.

And Garry Hill is a cross between Barry Fry and Ian Holloway.
