Looks like the majority of the squad will be off after the managers interview.
We have 9 players under contract and could be letting the rest go.

Been told we will have a very competitive budget to replace them with.

Understatement of the century :fl::£

he's better than Howarth..... if you can get the best out of him...
Howarth was poor for us- think he'll be off. Only played 3 times (1 time being against you). Looked very lightweight. Meikle did well in his short spell a few seasons back- definitely a good replacement for Mackreth in my opinion (he's probably better than Mackreth).

Rumour has it we're signing Livesey and Beeley. Don't know how true that is like because nearly every player I get told about, never signs

Understatement of the century :fl::£

Last season our budget was not as big as people made it out to be. Next season yes it will be a decent budget but won't be anywhere near the likes of FGR, Tranmere etc. Still be good for a team who's just come up.

Yeah I've heard lots of rumours that fly around. Same every year. But we're need at least what 10 new players. To go with the 8/9 that are staying.

It's like having Fleetwood back all over again.

Barrow have released captain Danny Livesey along with Forwards Inih Effiong and Lindon Meikle, goalkeeper Andy Coughlin and defender Shaun Beeley.

Been away a few days and was devastated to come back to that news! Livesey just gets better and better, but I think we were only willing to offer a one-year deal. Fylde was my first thought, which would be a bitter pill to swallow.
Beeley is another - he's been a brilliant signing, and would improve any side in this division. Could be back off to the league, or another Fylde recruit. Fuck next season already.

Dover's retained list out today. Hopefully Kinnear releases a few of his favourites. [esp his son]

here Dover's list, bit of cull.

New terms have been offered to Sam MAGRI, Ricky MODESTE, Mitch WALKER, Richard ORLU, Tyrone STERLING, Jamie GRIMES, Aswad THOMAS, Ross LAFAYETTE and Bondz N’GALA.

Mitch PINNOCK has been retained by an option being exercised by the club while Chris BARNARD and George ESSUMAN are both already under contract.

The club would like to thank all the players released for their efforts during their time with us and wish them well for the future.

Doesn't look like much of a cull!

We don't have a released list for the third season in a row. Alex Cisak and Sammy Moore (odds on a move to Dover?) have confirmed their departure on Twitter. I presume everyone else is off unless this bloody take over happens.

Marcus Kelly always seemed to be a player who threatened to be good, but never quite got there.

Was up the pub just and someone told me about Marcus and Rob. Not a surprise but both more than good enough for anyone at this level. Marcus's two goals at Chester in the Trophy were a real highlight this season.

I'd have both of them here.

Two of the nicest chaps you'll ever meet as well, always got time to chat to the younger fans, talk to you out of the ground and great adverts to our football club very sad to see them go. Any club will be lucky to have them!

Anthony Acheampong, Jamie Coyle, Callum Driver, Ben Greenhalgh, Vas Karagiannis, Yemi Odubade and Bobby-Joe Taylor all released.

Can't disagree with a single one. None would of made our starting 11 next season and Bobby-Joe would of made the bench at a push.

Our retained/released list is out later today.

I'm bracing myself to be completely horrified. There's literally nothing this club can get right.

We've jut released ours, bunch of kids on the whole only note able departures are Billy Paynter and Rob Jones, contracts offered to Brad Walker, Rhys Oates and Carl Magnay.

Everyone else appears to be under contract and the club are probably scrabbling around trying to sell anyone of value.

Quite surprised, could've been worse. Although I must say I am very disappointed that all three of Featherstone, Hawkins and Woods are still under contract. That midfield will get bullied week in and out down here.

Like you say, expect further departures. Magnay is essential to keep from those offered new deals.
