Now that Woking are SERIOUS CONTENDERS, let's see who else is going to be involved in this DOG FIGHT.

Solihull Motors - Beginning to Drop Like A Stone™️ after their good start.

Maidstone - See Solihull.

Bromley - Pretty rubbish despite beating us.

Torquay - Rubbish. Even we beat them. Twice.

York - Millsiah might not even be able to save them.

Braintree - Akinola has his work cut-out.

Southport - Should be fine because it's Southport.

Guiseley - Getting punished for WHAT THEY DID.

North Ferriby - Haven't scored a goal for 500 hours.

ain't that the way, we go a month without moving, staying 8 points above the drop at all times, then the moment we end the wait for our next point that gap also finally changes to 6 because of Southport winning

We'll be fine, we're just taking the piss for a laugh. Even man of the match Walton managed to get a second yellow card as the players walked off the pitch tonight.
Hilarious!

Southport will escape with a game to spare and finish 20th, like they do every season.

Southport are the Sunderland of this division. Start shit, sack and replace manager, survive on the last day.

Constant mistakes from our midfield and defence are costing us big time....unless we make some major changes in them areas will get dragged into this.
Our manager has been vocal that we need better players with experience at this level, but stated we can't afford to bring said players in. So unless the owners make more money available, we'll have to cope with signing released youngsters that nobody else wants.

With our next 6 games against Macclesfield, Southport, Woking, Lincoln, Dagenham & Eastleigh. We could be well in the crap by the end of November if we don't get our act together and quick

I'm feeling more and more confident that we'll "do a Southport" this season. Again.

Whose going bust then? Torquay, Aldershot, Woking...anyone else?

The AGM Cup might be our best hope.

Of the teams I've seen in that list, Woking and Maidstone should be fine, less sure about Southport and York.

WE'RE TOP OF THE LEAGUE :2thumb:
Sutton are the only side we've beaten outside of this 'relegation mini league'.

Famous last words but I think there will be 4 worse teams than Torquay.

Southport will be fine, they are the only side to comprehensively outplay us this season.

Having spent every North season in the play offs, last season and so far this one is totally different. Scrapping for every point makes every game seem far more important.

Same for us, not really had a season without challenging for the title or at least the play-offs since we moved back to Maidstone. We'll see how the crowds react if we keep losing at home.

We look nailed on to go down right now. I'm not quite sure what went wrong as over the first ten games or so it looked like we'd paste the weaker sides, struggle against vaguely organised and disciplined opposition, and finish in mid-table. Now we look like we'll get annihilated by pretty much anyone away and scrape the odd draw at home. Having Connolly out injured has definitely not helped, but if we're relying on one player to that extent we're going to be in deep shit.
Given that we started OK it ought to be fixable with the right additions, but it's the total lack of guts and confidence that is the most worrying. That and the fact we've got about half a dozen players who look consistently good enough to play at this level. In a squad of 28 or something daft.

If we want to stay up, we should really be getting something against teams like Southport.

With Dagenham, Lincoln and Eastleigh coming up soon...Woking next Saturday really is a must win.

I kind of understand the sentiment, but we're now unbeaten in 6 league and cup matches. We don't look like the mugs we were earlier in the season.

With us losing today, and Woking currently behind to NFU, next week's game between the two of us, surely looks the most important match, even more so than FGR V Lincoln at the top. Must win for both.

Yeah if we lose to Woking we really need to start worrying.
We won't get anything against Dagenham, Lincoln or Eastleigh, so we could very well be in the relegation zone by the end of the month.

I'd say all 6 of those games are winnable for Ferriby, however with our away form being diabolical I think the absolute best we can hope for out of the next 6 games is 9 points and thats being ridiculously optimistic.

Ferriby have already beaten Hyde's point tally and I would hope we'd be able to beat Leigh RMI's 18 soon. At this point anything above 30 points would be a successful season in my eyes. Considering the likelihood is that without a new buyer who has some funds behind him this may very well be the only season at this level ever it could have gone a lot worse.
