The most nailed-on relegation candidate to not actually be in the relegation zone.

Guiseley are too good to go down, but if we can actually find the net so are we. If we start scoring then the 4 that go down will be York, Ferriby, Woking and Braintree, mark my words

You look great in between the two penalty boxes, you just have to be better inside them at both ends. When we play teams with good passing and movement we don't chase anymore we just concede possession, drop deep and defend our box in numbers. It's getting us the points we need. Not pretty but it's working.

Bold prediction there - if 2 of bottom 7 start playing well, 4 of remaining 5 will get relegated.

Interesting.
Please elaborate with links to your sources.
Or is it just wishful thinking?

Just wishful thinking, I'm afraid. Though he must be getting a bit bored with his toy now and looking for something better and shinier.

We are too good to go down. We showed our mettle in winning the SIX-POINTER yesterday.

That's like saying if we can beat the sides around us in the league, we will go up. That ain't happening either.

Welcome mat is already out for you guys mate. Missed you xxx

Terrible night for the bottom 5 especially york, i think braintree and southport are now out of yorks reach and its a 4/5 situation for them if any of the other 4 hit a purple patch i think its over for the ministermen.... a dying shame, truly a sad day for football, that keith weller goal seems like yesterday .

Losses for Woking and NFU on Saturday could be really damaging to both, and would probably see Wrexham far enough clear to coast to safety.

A truly sad day for football? Not as sad as when Kiddy went down last year.

Not *that* bad for York.

Started the night 4 points from safety. Ended the night 4 points from safety.

But York are in nearly as bad form as us, we both need as many teams doing badly as possible in case Guiseley/Woking/NFU get their asses in gear and fly away to safety

Still far too early to predict what will happen as there's still 18 games to play. Looks bleak for those in the bottom 5 but still loads of points available.

Can see the bottom four staying as it is.

We need to win at Torquay on Saturday.

Probably will, too.

We used up our months allowance of goals over Christmas.

Here's an idea, maybe you could actually try as hard against other teams as you always seem to against us?

I think it went from 4/7 to 4/5 in yorks case mate, thats why i think it was a bad night for them... i dont think they can make up 8 points on braintree and southport

Last time it took us 8 years to get out of this league this time might be 1.

Nah, we'd actually be half decent then and the club don't want that!

Since the York away win its not really gone well for us, most teams above us have picked up some decent points. A win at Wrexham today might help things but we've had some influential loanees recalled and Brogan is apparently injured so a heavy loss is likely.

Its a shame to think York vs Whitby may be a league game next season, not nice seeing ex league teams drop down the non league pyramid

Is Gary Mills responsible for the recent wins or is it only the defeats that are his fault?

Only the defeats. Most of the dross he signed has already been shipped out to where they belong and been replaced by some actual proper players. Unlikely to be visiting this thread again seeing as our WINNING STREAK shows no sign of abating.
