It's not a dig. If a team is happy coming away from Anfield with a point (which Southampton undoubtedly are, along with many other visiting teams this season) then it makes perfect sense to employ the formation and tactics Southampton have done here.

As said, too often we're unable to break such formations down and even occasionally allow a goal or two on the break as we're attempting to do so. It doesn't matter how good a team's attack is, they will often struggle to find the net when surrounded by 9 (or occasionally even 10) players whenever they get a sniff of the 18 yard box.

Well done Southampton, came for a point and got a point. And Liverpool again failing to break down a well organised team with 8-9 men behind the ball the majority of the game. Klopp waiting too long to make the necessary changes didn't help.

Shout out to Cedric today, actually this whole season. Madness that Koeman played Martina over him at times last season given his form this season. He's shown this season that he could fill Clyne's boots and maybe even surpass him.

Shame we will probably lose him in the Summer though.

We have zero ideas against teams who set out to play defensive against us. It's easily out weak point when teams play for a draw. I'm sure Southampton would've been happy with four 0-0's against us this season but for two breaks on the counter attack.

The game plan worked so it's job done but it's frustrating for us hence I wouldn't care to see teams who have these tactics go down.

United are no longer a threat imo (reckon they will make CL by winning EL. Its Arsenal. We need to beat West ham and hope Boro are relegated before we play them.
Klopp needs to drop Origi. He has been awful in recent games. Either play Firmino up top or Sturridge. Lallana needs to start. Why the fuck did Klopp not start him today or bring him on at the start of 2nd half?
