Aye, I do hope youse get on a run mate.
92nd fucking minute winner for those cnuts!!!
Having read a few other reports from Gers fans who were at the game....it was no more than deserved.....yes it was a very late goal but as you know you have to play to the final whistle and perhaps if Dundee had actually set out to play and not just go with a defensive plan for the majority of the game they may have taken something from the game because they have decent players.
Hehe I know but I hate late winners when you're on the losing side.
Well done Fudgie on your first trophy, the first of many at Celtic I'm sure.
Dundee hit midtable after another win, still too bloody close down there though!
Celtic should wipe the floor with all domestic trophies this season, it'll be a few years before Rangers will be beating them again sadly. Didn't watch the game but 3-0 in any final is a bit of an anti climax.
Yep, you're spot on there. Was a good game for me as a punter cos I had a good win but as a neutral it was very disappointing because Aberdeen were never at the races.
What a cracking game at Fir Park earlier. Celtic scored in time added on to win 3-4. Great game to watch.
Annoying that Dundee Utd beat Hibs last night. Was driving after the match and there is nothing worse than seeing Utd fans happy.
what was the score....haven't seen it.
1 - 0 Utd with a penalty iirc.
Good win for the Gers today....beat the sheep shaggers 2-1....
After just over a week since being outplayed at Tyncastle and losing 2-0, Rangers hosted Hearts today and turned the tables by overwhelming them & returning the favour by winning 2-0 & could have been 4 or 5 I've been told. That is better especially after beating Aberdeen last week.
Good to see Cathro given a chance at Hearts though, hopefully he can make a good fist of it.
Thoughts on Accies v Rangers tonight?
tight game on a shite plastic pitch. The Gers have played well the last couple of games and can hopefully take this forward. They never get it easy at Hamilton who drew at Ibrox in the first game of the season. Joe Garner who hadn't been setting the heather on fire this season has started to have an influence in attack with his tremendous work ethic however he'll need to start scoring regularly. 1-3 Gers.
Forgot about the plastic pitch but I reckon it's still worth chucking Gers in my acca, cheers
Gers won 1-2 Tony....hope the other results went your way.
Cheers but Groningen let me down yesterday. At least I was using profits from matched betting so I'm not out of pocket!!
Didn't really expect a win and I was proven correct as Celtic won 1-2 @ Ibrox. Rangers took the lead early doors but once again pish defending let usn down allowing Celtic to equalise just before halftime. We were the better team 1st half but the 2nd belong to Celtic and AGAIN our defence gave them an easy chance to go ahead. Rangers had at least 3 chances to equalise with Miller hitting the post but it wasn't to be. Celtic also missed a few chances to go further ahead. Deserved win for them.
I watched the St Johnstone vs Rangers match on BT Sport and Garner looked very hesitant. Has he been like that since joining Rangers?
Superb comedy equaliser goal by St Johnstone as well.
For some reason (I only see the games that are on tv so I can't comment on the other ones) he has been getting good reports from Gers fans for his 'effort' during games...a target man is the common phrase used. I'll be honest and say that the games on tv that I have watched & that he has been playing in he is NOT my cup of tea...yeah plenty of effort but imo he is a liability due to his very aggressive style of play. He isn't a serious goal scorer which we really really need (along with a couple of decent centre backs!) and @ a transfer fee of £1.8 mill he is to put not too fine a point on it....a BIG waste of money. He had to come off today early doors due to a bad shoulder injury. Hope this helps mate.
Rangers gubbed at home (sorry Leo), Dundee with a good win and Dundee Utd lost as well, not a bad day so far.
2-1 doesn't constitute a gubbing, Salty.
No way a gubbing Salty. Deserved win by Celtic but Rangers showed much improvement from the 5-1 gubbing at Parkehead earlier in the season mate....however still not good enough.
Yeah one step at a time I suppose, but there is a gulf in quality just now and probably for a few years yet.
Better than a few years in the jail if they had been convicted in a criminal court I suppose.
It's been a long running and strange case that.
