It's true I'm afraid. Previous directors are greedy cretins who've sold the soul of the club, Huw Jenkins is a c*** and the squad is piss poor. Can't even sign Joe fucking Allen. Thanks PL, it's been fun.

Have to agree that it's looking like a long, long season for the Swans. I suppose the only positive is Cardiff won't be swapping places with you haha.

Dunno, Paul Trollope is a top coach and the championship is a lottery, wouldn't be surprised to see em fluke it.

Don't worry Swans. Once you get Hal Cruyff-Kanu in, then you will be all set for an interesting season.

I have every confidence that Sigdog will be able to save you from plunging through the divisions.

Guidolin is a really good manager but Swansea badly need some new attacking players. Surprised they've not replaced Paloschi yet, however I expect the window to get busier this week

Ulloa is the answer!
Are you keeping a hold of Ayew?

Whispers Ayew is off, McBurnie is the answer.

Siggy signed a new deal, not quite sure what he's thinking.

You beat us 4-0, and we are future Champions League winners so you can't be that bad.

I'd think that Hull City, Burnley and Watford are the most likely candidates for the bottom 3 places to start off with...

Based on the way they finished last season and their over-reliance on two players for goals.

No man, you are really underrating Mazzarri and his incredible capacity to improve the defense and the defenders. His 3-5-2 (which became 5-3-2 when others have the ball) is too hard to beat.

I've got good feelings about the incoming season of Swansea and Watford.

Guidolin is really able to work with young players and improve them.

Swans want Slimani. I think he'd be great but theyre lowballing the offer a bit, think they need to wrap it up quick if theyre serious.

Someone really likes Italian managers.

I bet you think Chelsea will win the league...

I know who is Walter Mazzarri and I know what he is able to do.
I'm a fan of SSC Napoli, we had him on the bench for 4 years and he made great results. We made a 3rd place in the season 2011/12, we made a fantastic journey in Champions League the next year (we beat Man City and Chelsea at San Paolo stadium), we won the Italian cup in the same year and we made a fantastic 2nd place in the season 2013/14. Our defense was composed by Aronica, P. Cannavaro and Campagnaro (do you know those players?), who were supported by Maggio and Zuniga who played as wings in his 3-5-2.
Maybe he'll fail on the Watford's bench, but I might be really surprised about it.

About Chelsea and Conte, I don't know what I can expect. He loved playing with 3-5-2 but I saw that he used 4-2-3-1 in the pre-season games. Nonetheless, I bet € 10 on Chelsea wins the league just for fun.

It does look a bit poor for Swansea at the moment, this summer has been pretty poor but signing Baston should ease some goalscoring issues and replace Ayew. At the moment Hull are an absolute certainty to finish bottom 3 so if things stay the same Swansea will have to hope there's two sides worse.

It doesn't matter how bad things will be this season, you can always console yourselves that Hull are going to be worse.

Bit late to this thread and my opinion might be a bit invalid after the Swans have picked up a good three points away from home - but I think they're gonna stay up.
Williams is a big miss, but I've heard good things about their new striker Borja Baston. Him and Llorente could strike up a could partnership: pun intended. I am a bit skeptical of Llorente though, his 4 goals at Seville isn't very impressive. Missed a header that he should absolutely be scoring at Burnley as well.

They had no striker when he made the thread. They've since bought 2. They've also lost Ayew and Williams which affects the first 11, and they don't have great depth. Got a Premier League winner in there though!
