In latest news McCormack was dropped today after missing training due to his gate being stuck apparently not the first time he's missed training (no surprise, the useless fat prick), and because he isn't fit enough and has a shit attitude, does this shit ever go away at our club?

First Agbonlahor, now McCormack who we spent £12fuckingmillion on in the summer. :ffs:

I like how this thread is made after you draw with little old Preston.

Nowt mentioned about Preston my friend. Bad result, however I'm just reflecting upon our club continually embarrassing us with off the pitch matters, there is also plenty to moan about on the pitch, but we all know that.

Villa should give McCormack a new contract so he can afford a better gate. Yet another problem of their own making.

Ross has always been a bit of a diva tbf, he kicked up a massive fuss down here when he couldn't get ahead of Bothroyd or Chopra who were on top form. Not to mention he likes a drink now and then. It's why we sold him to Leeds for so little money.

Here's one Jase, we spent £2.5m on a Swedish international in the summer and he hasn't even had 25 minutes of game time.

You'll be up there next season, far bigger laughing stocks in this division.

I hope McCormack never plays in the Premier League. Doesn't deserve it, one of the most overrated players I've ever seen in the Championship, he's never once had a good game against us. Panic/marquee signing from RDM/Dr Tony.

Yup. I do love the bloke.
I hope all your fans and chairman give him a proper chance because he will get you back up eventually. Write off this campaign and plan for next season. He'll get rid of the garbage and the players who have the talent but not the commitment. Even if you don't start brilliantly next season, stick with him and he'll at least get you to the playoffs. Everyone predicted you to finish mid table this season anyway. Villa were in such a mess that it was going to take more than one season and a truck load of the Dr's cash to fix it.

Agreed mate, we were never going straight back with the shit from last season. SEVENTEEN POINTS.

Main thing that's annoyed me with this is that we were meant to be signing players with better attitudes under RDM and this shit happens. Prick.

We spent 15m and resorted to playing Dangerous Dave as a goalkeeper today.

I read last night Fulham want him back on loan. Agree with a post above that Bruce will get you back up, given time. You can't throw endless money at promotion in that division. Gawd knows Blackburn Rovers tried as have several other clubs. You have to get the right players with the right attitude. Sure, it helps; but it's no golden ticket.
It's no great loss to rejuvenate the club this season, invest wisely and build for a proper push next season. Don't forget just how bad Villa were last season and don't forget it takes time to rebuild the club, albeit from the outside; that looked like it had problems at all levels.

Villa will obviously be fine. Lansbury ran the show yesterday, presumably had to go off as he hadn't played for 2 months but he was quality.

Villa can probably write this season off but I expect them to be strong challengers next season, they've got the quality, just need to change the mentality.

Engvall had over an hour against Fulham in the cup, an hour away at Fleetwood, and an hour or so against Hull.

If I'm not mistaken 3 hours is more than 25 minutes.

In the league. He's come on twice, not even had a full halfs worth of football yet and we paid £2.5m for the luxury.

Far worse than any signing Villa have made this season.

I point you to a man who has almost single-handedly cost us about 15 points.
